All about the OLLECH & WAJS OW Ocean Graph MkII 11/56 COSC Limited (Photo Watch)

The Ocean Graph MkII opens a new chapter in the history of ambitious dive watches: it combines the robust tradition of the 1968 original with a contemporary, practical approach — and was developed closely with the Norwegian freediver Siri Østvold. This collaboration of professional diving expertise and classic watchmaking results in an instrument that connects emotionally to the historic model while also offering tangible technical advancements.

Only 1x. No. 11/56 COSC certified. As photo watch. Like new, nothing wrong. From video & photography. 3 years warranty from purchase. On Perlon strap.

The very last limited COSC certified with limitation number 11/56 on the crown (see video).

Design from practice

What makes the MkII special is its consistent focus on real underwater requirements; collaboration with a competitive freediver ensured that controls, readability, and wearing comfort were designed not as theoretical wishes but as tested solutions. The watch thinks along: every display, every hand, and every click has been revised to be grasped in fractions of a second — an advantage that freedivers and professional users especially feel immediately.

Robustness and depth capability

The MkII delivers real depth reserves: with 1000 m water resistance and a massively screwed case made of 316L stainless steel, it is designed for extreme use and offers more than just looks. This technical substance is complemented by careful manufacturing focused on durability and tightness — not least a reason why the watch is considered a reliable tool under adverse conditions.

Dimensions and wearing comfort

The proportions are remarkably balanced: with a diameter of 39.5 mm and a height that combines robustness with everyday wearability, the MkII sits solidly on the wrist without dominating. The finely brushed case and ergonomic profile ensure that the watch remains comfortable even during longer sessions and maintains the balance between presence and wearing comfort.

The multifunctional bezel

A special feature is the newly designed rotating bezel that combines Tide Tracking with a GMT function, a top-time countdown, and a 20-minute dive scale. This integration allows planning for ebb and flow, keeping track of world times, measuring the crucial three minutes before a competition dive, and precisely documenting the critical first 15–20 minutes of a dive sequence — a multifunctional tool that meaningfully supports a wide range of marine activities.

Dial, color and readability

The dial adopts a clear, functional concept: a deep blue with contrasting orange accents ensures immediate recognition, while the hands and indices are designed in bright green and cream tones with Swiss Super-LumiNova® to provide precise orientation even in low light. This color and luminescence scheme is calibrated to work reliably underwater as well as in murky daylight on the surface.

Drive and precision

At its heart beats the custom Soprod Newton P092, an automatic caliber with 4 Hz and about 44-hour power reserve, designed for stable performance under stress. The first 56 numbered models are delivered as chronometers; furthermore, an official COSC certification is planned as an option, underscoring the brand's ambition to combine highest precision with durability.

Straps and adaptability

The MkII comes standard on a handcrafted blue Perlon strap, offering combination comfort and water resistance; additionally, three distinctive alternatives can be added: the historic S-Type Mark II “Beads-of-Rice” steel bracelet, the finely linked M-Heritage mesh, and the striking orange FROGMAN rubber with practical engraved scales and tables. These strap options transform the watch from a daily companion into a specialized instrument — depending on the area of use and personal style.

Manufacture, testing and warranty

Manufactured in the Swiss Jura region, the MkII has been tested for durability in its production and in independent tests; the Soprod caliber also carries a Chronofiable certification documenting its resilience. Ollech & Wajs offers a three-year warranty, a testament to the quality of workmanship and robustness of the construction.

Conclusion: Who this watch is made for

The Ocean Graph MkII is aimed at people seeking a serious, functional dive watch — whether it's the professional freediver who needs precise preparation and readability, or the discerning enthusiast who values historical heritage and modern technology. With its combination of multifunctional bezel, high water resistance, and thoughtful ergonomics, it is less a fashion statement and more a powerful tool that performs confidently both underwater and on land.

FAQs

About me

My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.

Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.

As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

So come along on a journey full of watches... off the mainstream... and if you have a question, please feel free to ask me anytime via the form, chat, WhatsApp, email or phone.

I am very much looking forward to meeting you.

PS: My hobbies & passions include the internet (first agency already in 1996), Denmark, France's coasts (Brittany, Normandy & Côte d’Azur), hiking, e-MTB, sales (Bachelor of Sales) and photography.

My Achilles' heel includes children's chocolate, good food, sneakers & of course watches... :-)

Shipping & Insurance

Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.

The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...

Cancellation & Return Shipping

You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.

I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.

IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

Please simply contact me for this. david@watchdavid.com

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

Authenticity & Condition of the Watches

I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).

As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...

Warranty & Service

All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.

If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.

Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
