All about the Venezianico Arsenale Platinum
Arsenale Platino – Timeless Purism Meets Enduring Metal
With the Arsenale Platino, a watch is presented that combines minimalist elegance with the enduring strength of one of the world's noblest metals. Its design is clear and unadorned, yet at the same time it reflects enormous depth – both in design and in the choice of its materials. At the center is a dial that receives its characteristic surface through a controlled drum process and a galvanic refinement with platinum. Each individual structure is unique – a living play of light, depth, and texture that never repeats exactly.

The case itself is particularly well-balanced with a diameter of 40 mm and a slim height of only 9.95 mm, wearing comfortably compact. Brushed surfaces alternate with finely polished edges and a distinctive knurled bezel that shines prominently while simultaneously emphasizing the artisanal sophistication. The lines remain clear and modern, making the Arsenale Platino a versatile companion – elegant enough for formal occasions, functional enough for everyday wear.
The hidden history of a special metal
Platinum, today a symbol of rarity and durability, was completely unknown in antiquity. It was only in the 16th century that Spanish conquerors discovered the mysterious metal along South American riverbeds. They called it “platina” – “little silver” – unaware of the treasure they held in their hands. It took more than a century before the true value of this resilient element was recognized. In Europe, it was first described in 1557 by the scholar Giulio Cesare Scaliger as a material that could not be melted – a peculiarity that made the metal appear as a scientific mystery for a long time.

With the advancement of metallurgy, it eventually became clear that platinum is not only one of the rarest but also one of the most stable metals in the world. Its chemical inertness protects it from corrosion, its high weight indicates inner density, and even under extreme heat it remains dimensionally stable. These properties make it indispensable today in high-precision applications – such as in aviation, medicine, or indeed in fine watchmaking.
A dial with character – shaping through refinement
The special structure of the dial is created through an elaborate drum process, in which the brass base is worked on with controlled movements. The result is a wavy, deliberately irregular surface that gives each watch its very own identity. Afterwards, the dial is polished and dipped into an electrolytic bath with platinum salt. In this electrolytic process, a uniform yet individually shaped platinum layer is deposited, preserving the texture while simultaneously refining it.
The final step consists of the manual application of the indices and the logo. Each element is applied with micrometer precision – an effort that is evident not only visually but also in the overall effect of the dial. The result is a surface that appears differently lively depending on the light incidence – a unique piece on every wrist.

The heart – Swiss mechanics, Italian craftsmanship
The Arsenale Platino is powered by the automatic caliber V3250, based on the renowned Soprod M100. This movement combines classic Swiss reliability with precise fine adjustment in the range of –4 to +6 seconds per day. It beats at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and has a power reserve of approximately 42 hours – a guarantee for consistent and smooth time display.
The movement itself has been refined not only technically but also visually: sandblasted bridges, a skeletonized rotor with rhodium plating, and an aesthetic focused on clear functionality reflect the modern ambition of the watch. Each piece is assembled by Daniele Zorzetto, an Italian master watchmaker specializing in mechanical precision calibers – a connection of tradition and technical excellence rarely found.
Wearing comfort and design in perfect balance
Thanks to its balanced proportions, the Arsenale Platino adapts harmoniously to various wrists. The 40 mm diameter combined with a lug-to-lug length of 48 mm and the low height of 9.95 mm ensures an ergonomic fit that is neither too prominent nor too discreet. The clear geometries and the consistent design – especially with the integrated link bracelet – guarantee smooth transitions and a high-quality wearing experience.
Both the case and the bracelet have been crafted with great care: Vertical satin finishes alternate with polished chamfers, each link connection is beveled on both sides to ensure a harmonious overall appearance. Especially the combination of classic polished Dauphine hands and the mirror-polished bezel creates a subtle tension between tradition and modernity – a design bridge typical of the philosophy of this watch.

FAQs
About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.
So come along on a journey full of watches... off the mainstream... and if you have a question, please feel free to ask me anytime via the form, chat, WhatsApp, email or phone.
I am very much looking forward to meeting you.
PS: My hobbies & passions include the internet (first agency already in 1996), Denmark, France's coasts (Brittany, Normandy & Côte d’Azur), hiking, e-MTB, sales (Bachelor of Sales) and photography.
My Achilles' heel includes children's chocolate, good food, sneakers & of course watches... :-)
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.
Please simply contact me for this. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
