All about the YEMA Navygraf Marine Nationale GMT YNAV23MN

Origin and concept

The Navygraf Pearl CMM.20 is a refined reinterpretation of a classic diver design: deliberately slimmer and more elegant than its predecessors, it combines historical codes with modern manufacture. The design reflects the intention to create a watch that functions confidently underwater and also suits formal occasions — a watch for those who equally appreciate function and style.

Limited to 200 pieces.

Dial as a small work of art

The natural mother-of-pearl dial is the secret heart of this model: its delicate iridescence reveals silver, violet, and turquoise tones that show new nuances with every movement of the wrist. Because no disc is like another, each watch becomes an individual unique piece; the smooth surface gives the face depth and an almost painted elegance that drips light in fine waves.

Indices, hands, and readability

Applied, polished steel indices and finely crafted hour and minute hands form a clear contrast to the mother-of-pearl base — together with Super-LumiNova Grade A, this results in readability that impresses not only during the day but also remains clear at night. The reflections of the polished surfaces play with the dial and create appealing metallic accents depending on the viewing angle.

Case construction and proportions

The newly designed 39-mm case is deliberately slim (under 10 mm thick) and features satin-finished surfaces that transition into polished chamfers. This combination of linear finish and glossy edges creates a subtly elegant appearance; with a lug-to-lug measurement of around 46 mm, the watch sits comfortably and balanced on the wrist — present but never intrusive.

Bezel, glass, and protection

The mother-of-pearl bezel continues the visual language of the dial and was coated with a protective resin layer before a double-domed sapphire crystal covers the composition. This construction increases scratch resistance while creating a special optical depth: the dome of the glass enhances the perception of layers and makes the mother-of-pearl appear almost alive.

Manufacture movement and display back

Under the sapphire display back, the in-house micro-rotor caliber CMM.20 is presented, combining bridges decorated with Côtes-de-Genève, a ball-bearing rotor, and a generous power reserve of 70 hours. This manufacture movement is not only technically remarkable, it is also part of the aesthetic experience through the display back: here watchmaking art becomes visible and tangible.

Diving qualities and features

Despite its elegant appearance, the Navygraf Pearl remains a practical diver's watch: the unidirectional rotating bezel, screw-down crown, and water resistance up to 20 bar ensure the necessary reserves for serious use. The integration of Super-LumiNova on indices, hands, and bezel guarantees clear orientation in every situation — an uncompromising promise of quality and usability.

Bracelet options and wearing comfort

Available are a finely crafted 316L steel bracelet with micro-adjuster and a specially designed FKM rubber strap made of Viton® with a retro-inspired pattern and tapered cut. Both options are comfortable to wear; the metal bracelet combines elegance with robustness, the rubber strap offers ventilation and grip during wet activities — a versatility that makes the watch flexible.

Limitation and collector's value

As a numbered edition of only 200 pieces, the series emphasizes its exclusive character: each watch carries an individual engraving on the back and is delivered with a guaranteed five-year warranty. This combination of rare edition, visible manufacture, and careful craftsmanship increases both the emotional and collector's value of the model.

Conclusion: Understated Luxury

The Navygraf Pearl CMM.20 achieves the rare balance between subtle elegance and serious technology: a mother-of-pearl speckled dial, fine steel appliqués, a flat, masterfully constructed case, and a visible micro-rotor caliber together form a watch you want to wear both with a tuxedo and diving gear. Those looking for a watch that combines craftsmanship, design, and everyday practicality in high quality will find a very harmonious offer here.

FAQs

About me

My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.

Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.

As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

So come along on a journey full of watches... off the mainstream... and if you have a question, please feel free to ask me anytime via the form, chat, WhatsApp, email or phone.

I am very much looking forward to meeting you.

PS: My hobbies & passions include the internet (first agency already in 1996), Denmark, France's coasts (Brittany, Normandy & Côte d’Azur), hiking, e-MTB, sales (Bachelor of Sales) and photography.

My Achilles' heel includes children's chocolate, good food, sneakers & of course watches... :-)

Shipping & Insurance

Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.

The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...

Cancellation & Return Shipping

You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.

I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.

IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

Please simply contact me for this. david@watchdavid.com

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

Authenticity & Condition of the Watches

I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).

As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...

Warranty & Service

All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.

If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.

Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

Something can slip past me sometimes too. Or the technology doesn't work as it should. Feel free to write to me again at david@watchdavid.com

Mechanics - Sometimes things can happen there too

Before I ship your order, I carefully check each watch for visible defects.
