Millésime 2025 – YEMA's new masterpiece

With the introduction of the Millésime Edition 2025, YEMA makes a clear statement: to unite the best of manufacture expertise and French watchmaking art in a strictly limited timepiece. The legendary Superman was chosen as the base, a historic diver's watch model that here serves as a stage for the highest finishing and technical innovation. The result is neither merely nostalgic nor provocatively experimental but reads as the consistent merging of two worlds: heritage design and modern haute horlogerie.

A tourbillon that can dive

What makes this edition so unusual is the tourbillon at the heart of the watch: the caliber CMM.31, developed in Morteau, was not designed as a delicate showpiece but for everyday use and even diving. The seconds hand sits directly on the tourbillon cage and is coated with Super-LumiNova, so the complication is not only decorative but remains functionally readable underwater — a clear statement against the conventional expectation that tourbillons are delicate and only for elegant occasions.

Mechanics that deliver precision

Technically, the piece presents itself as a remarkable synthesis: the escapement was refined using modern LiGA manufacturing, the construction allows regulation in six positions, and the accuracy ranges from −3 to +7 seconds per day. Thanks to a specially designed, large-dimensioned mainspring barrel, the caliber achieves an impressive 105 hours power reserve — a measure that ensures everyday comfort and reserves for longer missions.

Robustness at manufacture level

At the same time, the tourbillon was adapted for extreme stresses: shock-absorbing solutions from Kif, a construction that withstands shocks up to 5000 G, as well as antimagnetic components with a resistance of 2000 Gauss make the movement exceptionally resilient. Complemented by a screw-down crown and carefully sealed case components, the watch thus meets not only design but also genuine technical requirements of modern tool watches.

Material choice and design formula

Case and bracelet are made of Titanium Grade 5, making the watch both light and corrosion-resistant — ideal for maritime use. The proportions are balanced: a diameter of 43 mm with a remarkably slim height of 11.7 mm; the double-domed sapphire crystal with a height of 2.10 mm gives the front depth and vintage charm, while the unidirectional rotating diver's bezel with ceramic inlay emphasizes the practical side.

Wearing comfort and everyday suitability

The new Scales-Slim bracelet in titanium fits slimly around the wrist and ensures a pleasantly light presence on the arm; the clasp offers a tool-free quick adjustment that responds to temperature fluctuations and movement. This combination of low weight, precise fine adjustment, and solid material choice makes the Millésime watch surprisingly suitable for everyday use — despite the complex mechanics inside.

Limitation and collector status

Limited to only 100 Limited numbered pieces, this Millésime edition is aimed at collectors and enthusiasts seeking a rare combination of craftsmanship and functionality. The watch is not only a curiosity on paper — tourbillon plus professional diver equipment — it also tells a story of ambition: YEMA demonstrates that sophisticated complications and real-world usability need not be contradictory.

Conclusion: Haute Horlogerie meets tool watch

The Superman Tourbillon CMM.31 Millésime 2025 is more than a technical gimmick; it is a challenging experiment that succeeds in many ways. By combining finest finishing, practical robustness, and modern material technology, a watch is created that offers something to both collectors and practical users. Those looking for a watch that embodies elegance and assertiveness at the same time will find an unusual, consistently thought-out offering in this limited edition.

About me

My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.

Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.

As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

So come along on a journey full of watches... off the mainstream... and if you have a question, please feel free to ask me anytime via the form, chat, WhatsApp, email or phone.

I am very much looking forward to meeting you.

PS: My hobbies & passions include the internet (first agency already in 1996), Denmark, France's coasts (Brittany, Normandy & Côte d’Azur), hiking, e-MTB, sales (Bachelor of Sales) and photography.

My Achilles' heel includes children's chocolate, good food, sneakers & of course watches... :-)

Shipping & Insurance

Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.

The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...

Cancellation & Return Shipping

You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.

I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.

IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

Please simply contact me for this. david@watchdavid.com

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

Authenticity & Condition of the Watches

I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).

As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...

Warranty & Service

All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.

If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.

Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it can sometimes take a bit longer. As a rule, I respond within a few minutes or hours.

Something can slip past me sometimes too. Or the technology doesn't work as it should. Feel free to write to me again at david@watchdavid.com

Mechanics - Sometimes things can happen there too

Before I ship your order, I carefully check each watch for visible defects.
