'WATCHMAKING IS ART, SOMETHING THAT AWAKENS EMOTIONS'

"We present a bold, colorful, and unconventional timepiece designed by the legendary French watchmaker and modernist artist Alain Silberstein. Powered by the YEMA micro-rotor manufacture caliber, featuring a DLC-coated Grade 5 titanium case and stunning 3D luminous markers with Super-LumiNova."

Numbered ... xxx/500

TRANSFORM TIME INTO ART

Alain Silberstein is known for his playful and colorful designs that combine art and watchmaking. The black dial serves as a background for a wealth of vibrant and colorful geometric shapes: a bright red hour hand reminiscent of a stylized triangle, a striking yellow minute hand in the shape of an arrow, and a playful blue second hand in the shape of a starfish.

The three-dimensional, fully coated with Super-LumiNova indexes stand out clearly from the surface of the dial, giving this collector's watch depth and visual interest.

DOUBLE CROWN HOUSING MADE OF TITANIUM GRADE 5

The complex housing design with its intricate multi-part construction required advanced design and manufacturing techniques. The unique Grade-5 titanium case, developed from scratch by Alain Silberstein, is black DLC-coated and micro-blasted.

The band lugs are an integral part of the case bottom, creating a seamless transition between the strap and the case, resulting in a flowing and integrated appearance. The focus is on the clear lines of the case without additional protrusions.

The symmetrical and balanced appearance of the double crown gives this timepiece a distinctive, vintage-style inspired aesthetic and additionally offers extra functionality: The upper screwed crown with blue Cerakote® ceramic coating operates the internal rotating diver's bezel, while the lower screwed crown is used for setting the time and winding the caliber.

SILBERSTEIN SIGNATURE EXHIBITION FLOOR

The sapphire exhibition case reveals the intricate inner workings of the YEMA caliber CMM.20 with micro-rotor. The black galvanically decorated bridges and the red oscillating weight provide a modern and distinctive aesthetic.

The symbolic and playful koi motif is a unique, wearable timepiece that represents a calm and soothing element in stark contrast to the vibrant colors and geometric shapes of the dial. The balance between tranquility and lively art makes the watch appear almost alive. It evokes the grace and endurance of koi and captures the essence of underwater elegance with Silverstone's unmistakable flair.

ULTRA-BRIGHT 3D SUPER-LUMINOVA

A fascinating, artistic dial with raised markings made of 3D Super-LumiNova, where creativity meets cutting-edge technology. These unique luminescent 3D markings transform timekeeping into a visual art form, where light, color, and creativity come together to redefine the way you perceive and experience time in low-light conditions. This unique patented 3D process, in which Super-LumiNova is cast into polyester micro-shapes, creates tiny blocks that emit more light due to their larger volume.

ALAIN SILBERSTEIN

Alain Silberstein is a French modernist and watchmaker as well as a follower of the Bauhaus school. His French flair enriches the world of watches with a nonchalant, playful touch. Inspired by abstract artists such as Kandinsky, Picasso, and Miró, Silberstein creates watches that establish a connection between primary colors and shapes.

My personal view on the YEMA X Alain Silberstein LIMITED EDITION 20.24.66.TN.U6

David Drilling Fazit

"Wow... what cool colors. Colorful, more colorful, Alain Silberstein! Anyone who is interested in this type of extraordinary watch also knows Alain Silberstein. YEMA has chosen a real heavyweight as a cooperation partner. And the result is really very impressive. Only the best materials. Nothing was left to chance. It's just that the wait will be hard... shipping will take place in February 2025, that's an announcement... But you can be happy if you get one at all anyway..."

FAQs

About me

My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.

Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.

As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

So come along on a journey full of watches... off the mainstream... and if you have a question, please feel free to ask me anytime via the form, chat, WhatsApp, email or phone.

I am very much looking forward to meeting you.

PS: My hobbies & passions include the internet (first agency already in 1996), Denmark, France's coasts (Brittany, Normandy & Côte d’Azur), hiking, e-MTB, sales (Bachelor of Sales) and photography.

My Achilles' heel includes children's chocolate, good food, sneakers & of course watches... :-)

Shipping & Insurance

Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.

The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...

Cancellation & Return Shipping

You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.

I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.

IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

Please simply contact me for this. david@watchdavid.com

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

Authenticity & Condition of the Watches

I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).

As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...

Warranty & Service

All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.

If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.

Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
