YEMA x seconde/seconde/ Yachtingraff YMHF1588-ATPS
All about the YEMA x seconde/seconde/ Yachtingraff YMHF1588-ATPS
A French tool watch legend, the Yachtingraf Croisière from 1968, is tagged and receives another F. in collaboration with master watch customizer Romaric André.
When the watch becomes a canvas
With the Yachtingraff, a timepiece takes the stage that has nothing to do with conventions – and intentionally so. The traditional regatta chronograph from the 1960s undergoes a true transformation under the hands of the French conceptual artist seconde/seconde/: from yacht club icon to subversive art object. And yes, the name carries a double “F” – not because it’s a mistake, but because rules are meant to be rewritten.

From sail to spray can
Those looking for classic elegance here will be disappointed – instead, you find a watch that looks like it just came from a warehouse in Brooklyn. The dial appears as if a street artist, in a moment of urban inspiration, grabbed a can and left their signature. Graffiti meets watchmaking – an aesthetic short circuit that works. The chronograph pushers resemble tiny spray can nozzles, and the boldly crossed-out brand logo makes it clear: This watch does not play by the old rules. It rebels with style – 38.5 mm of concentrated anarchy in stainless steel.
Regatta start with a burst of color YEMA x seconde/seconde/
While the legendary “Big-Eye” regatta display remains part of the watch, the original timing for sail starts takes a back seat. Instead, it now offers a five-minute spectacle of colors – a countdown that can be used just as well for the next popcorn as for a creative outburst. Rules? Overrated. This display is a visual manifesto against the mainstream – wild, expressive, and radically free.

Chronograph with spray can charm
The pushers are more than functional elements – they feel like civil disobedience. seconde/seconde/ designed them to look like miniature versions of real spray caps. Each press becomes a symbolic act of “tagging” – but without paint smears, instead with mechanical precision. Graffiti as a concept, not chaos – yet with all its rebellious energy.
A message that gets under the skin
Turning the watch over reveals another creative bombshell. On the case back is the engraving "La Croisière, ma muse" – a phrase that, in its poetic ambiguity, bridges the gap between maritime past and urban provocation. The cruise, once a symbol of luxury and freedom, becomes the muse of a modern artist who prefers to conquer walls rather than waves. This is not a simple tribute – this is a holographic manifesto against boredom.
Between vintage and vandalism
The strap fits perfectly into the concept. Made of robust rubber, it brings the typical Tropic look – a nod to classic dive watches, but reimagined. It is light, flexible, and waterproof – ready to withstand both city spray and spray at the bow. From the dusty gallery to the painted underpass – this strap knows no limits.

YEMA x seconde/seconde/ Rebellion with sensitivity
Behind all the artistic attitude lies technical reliability. The Seiko VK63 hybrid movement combines quartz-accurate timekeeping with mechanical chronograph function – a deliberate mix of old and new, of stability and stylistic break. It is a movement for people who mean business – even if they don't want to look serious.
A statement of a different kind
The Yachtingraff is not a watch that everyone likes – and it doesn't want to be. It is provocative, playful, and absolutely independent. seconde/seconde/ has proven with this model that watch design can be more than classic harmony. It can be louder. Cheekier. And precisely because of that unforgettable. The Yachtingraff is an ironic wink with seriousness at its core – a piece of street culture for the wrist, wrapped in high-quality watchmaking.

FAQs
About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.
So come along on a journey full of watches... off the mainstream... and if you have a question, please feel free to ask me anytime via the form, chat, WhatsApp, email or phone.
I am very much looking forward to meeting you.
PS: My hobbies & passions include the internet (first agency already in 1996), Denmark, France's coasts (Brittany, Normandy & Côte d’Azur), hiking, e-MTB, sales (Bachelor of Sales) and photography.
My Achilles' heel includes children's chocolate, good food, sneakers & of course watches... :-)
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.
Please simply contact me for this. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
No response received?
You wrote to me via the contact form, through the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you haven't received a reply?
Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and pushing more and more into spam.
I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it can sometimes take a bit longer. As a rule, I respond within a few minutes or hours.
Something can slip past me sometimes too. Or the technology doesn't work as it should. Feel free to write to me again at david@watchdavid.com
Mechanics - Sometimes things can happen there too
Before I ship your order, I carefully check each watch for visible defects.
If a problem should occur, such as damage during transport, please inform me immediately. I will do everything possible to quickly find a solution and ensure that you are satisfied.
