The Crown Protection System™ ensures a secure, waterproof closure. The bracelet can only be attached if the crown at 6 o'clock is completely screwed in. The ECS® system ensures optimal rinsing after the dive and enables the removal of contaminants and salt crystals that have settled between the unidirectional rotating bezel with ceramic insert and the case . The hands and date are powered by a reliable Swiss-made self-winding caliber.

After the first Grands Fonds 300® was officially approved in 1960, the French Navy explained to the designers that the crown at 3 o'clock was a problem , as it is too vulnerable to manipulation underwater. She asked ZRC® to find a solution to protect the crown without hindering the movement of the wrist and, above all, to ensure that it cannot open underwater. The team got to work and developed the famous crown at 6 o'clock, which is connected to the case through an exclusive system made from a cut from a single block strong>Canon exists.
