The housing
The Italian coast is home to seven different species of turtles. That was the inspiration for the design of the watch case. It should resemble a turtle (Italian Tartaruga). A square, round shape without edges that merges seamlessly into the curved sapphire crystal like a curve.

The crown is at the 4 o'clock hand position. It merges into a single unit with the dial, hands and bezel in perfect harmony.

The dial
Jannieke, who is largely behind the design of the Ligure watches, has delivered a striking look with the dial that impresses with its depth, complexity, texture and color. The indices, which are also slightly offset and extra polished, fit perfectly into the overall picture like the numbers. The Super-LumiNova® used ensures that the time can be read easily in poor visibility conditions. The dials of the Founders Edition Ligure are also specially ground to achieve a special effect in sunlight. The curved sapphire crystal is fully anti-reflective and also has an anti-reflective coating, which acts as a protective cover for the glass and increases the service life of the watch.

The clockwork
Inside the Ligure watches beats a Swiss heart, the SW200-1 from Sellita, a rock-solid automatic movement based on the patented in-house caliber ETA 2824. The ETA2893/2 H5 is installed directly in the founders edition of the Ligure watches. If you value a GTM function, a second time zone setting, a 24-hour hand and an additional anti-shock mechanism, you should take a look at the Founders Edition watches.

The bracelet
The material for the bracelet has been carefully selected with comfort, durability and aesthetics in mind. In addition, care was taken to ensure that the bracelet merges seamlessly into the case without leaving an annoying gap between the strap and the watch. This not only looks more visually appealing but also increases the protection of the watch from damage. The Ligure bracelets are equipped with a quick-release fastener that allows the band to be changed within a few seconds without tools.

The clasp
Closures are a matter of taste or follow practical considerations. In order to offer the best wearing comfort to as many customers as possible, Ligure has designed several clasps, a butterfly clasp with a push button, a folding clasp with ratchet and ratchet extension and a hidden folding or butterfly clasp that makes the clasp almost invisible.
