Ollech & Wajs watches have been among the most important Swiss timepieces for almost 7 decades now. They survived Arctic expeditions, military operations, and demanding dives. As the first diver's watch ever, the Caribbean 1000 was certified for water resistance up to 1000 meters depth and left the competition far behind.
Nevertheless, probably very few people think of Ollech & Wajs. Even many watch enthusiasts are likely encountering the name for the first time today. Abroad, the pronunciation of the name also raises questions. So it is high time to shed light on the matter and give a face to the brand, which was founded in a small shop in Zurich back in 1956.
Over the years, Ollech & Wajs repeatedly set standards in the watch industry and allied with prestigious partners, to whom they provided powerful watches. For a few years now, the still independent watch brand has been working on a return to the big stage.
