The traditional Black Forest company Hanhart expands its PIONEER collection with an exciting new addition: the PIONEER One. This three-hand watch combines the unmistakable vintage look of the 1950s with modern watchmaking technology. The historical inspiration comes from the legendary Hanhart 417 ES Flyback (caliber 42), which held a firm place in the history of pilot watches in the 1950s.
Vintage meets Modern
The PIONEER One combines a classic design with contemporary precision. Its hand display and the tidy dial have been faithfully taken from the 417 ES Flyback, albeit in a modern three-hand format. The focus on the essentials gives the watch a unique charm that brings the aesthetics of the 1950s back to life. The result is a harmonious blend of retro style and technical sophistication.
Technical Details and Comfort
With a diameter of 42 mm and a case height of 12 mm, the PIONEER One has a presence that impresses both in everyday life and on special occasions. The case is made of robust stainless steel, while a screwed case back ensures water resistance of up to 10 bar. Thus, the watch remains reliable even under demanding conditions.
The characteristic Hanhart leather strap with stainless steel rivets emphasizes the nostalgic charm of this watch. It not only offers a pleasant wearing experience but also optimal support, aided by a durable pin buckle. Thus, the PIONEER One is the perfect companion, whether at work or in leisure.

For optimal visibility, the dial of the PIONEER One is equipped with large, luminous numbers. Thanks to the Super-LumiNova® coating on the hands and indices, the watch is also excellently readable in low light conditions. A tribute to the Hanhart classics
The PIONEER One model draws on the legacy of the iconic Cal. 42 series, which thrilled in the 1950s with its flyback function and manual winding. The original Hanhart chronographs 417 and 417 ES were specifically developed for the Luftwaffe of the Bundeswehr, earning them the name "Bundeswehr Chronograph" among connoisseurs.
At that time, only 500 pieces each were produced in brass and stainless steel from the original models, making them highly sought-after collector's items today. These classics served as an aesthetic model for many renowned manufacturers for their own pilot and military watches.

My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
