THE CASE
Tartaruga is the Italian word for turtle, and these can be found in numerous variations along the coasts of the Italian Riviera, which is where the creators of the Ligure found their inspiration for the watch. The case is shaped like a turtle, with no sharp edges, a rounded square form with a domed sapphire crystal that seamlessly arches over the case like the shell of a turtle. Design-wise, it's a real eye-catcher. The anti-reflective coating and full anti-glare treatment ensure optimal readability even in unfavorable lighting conditions.
DIAL AND HANDS
The Founders Edition GMT LWT21008 model features a clearly structured white dial with an accented white and red color scheme. It impresses with a striking appearance, high complexity, and design depth. The texture and color scheme appear well thought out. The indices are slightly offset and extra polished, blending harmoniously with the numerals into the overall look of the dial. Thanks to the Super-LumiNova® illumination coating, good readability of the time is ensured even in the dark.
THE MOVEMENT of the Ligure Founders Edition GMT LWT21008
The Ligure Founders Edition GMT is equipped with a true manufacture caliber, the ETA2893/2 H5, which not only gives the watch higher value but also an extended range of functions. In addition to the GMT function, a second time zone can be set, there is a 24-hour hand, and an additional anti-shock mechanism that protects the watch from damage.

The back of the watch is made of stainless steel. In addition to the raised outlines of Italy, the coordinates of Porto Venere are engraved, a tribute to a popular diving area in the Ligurian Riviera where many shipwrecks are found.

My personal view on the Ligure Founders Edition GMT LWT21008
"Taucheruhren gibt es ja wie Sand am Meer. Da wird es immer schwieriger, aus der breiten Masse hervorzustechen. Diese Ligure Taucheruhr macht ganz vieles richtig. Und ist absolut kein Mainstream. Man spürt förmlich die italienische Lebensart am Handgelenk. Klasse wie das Armband quasi "unter" dem Gehäuse verschwindet. Eines der vielen tollen Designmerkmale. Die Uhr ist auch super für kleinere Handgelenke geeignet, da wir hier nur 42,5mm Lug to Lug haben, bei 41mm Durchmesser. Der Clou ist aber, das sie durch die Art wie das Band am Gehäuse montiert, auch für größere Handgelenke geeignet ist. Schaut euch gerne das Video an, auch wenn es etwas länger dauert, es lohnt sich."
