Geometry as a Guide for Light
On the case and the strap, the finely crafted engravings follow strictly proportioned rhythms that guide the light like an architect. Each surface is designed so that reliefs and planes interact; the result is a visible depth effect that directs the gaze while conveying clear structure.
Materiality and Fine Workmanship
The case made of 316L stainless steel carries the engravings as precisely as it does durably, while the dial protected by sapphire crystal reflects the color in ever new facets. This sensory quality is technically complemented by the automatic Miyota caliber 9039, a slim three-hand construction that combines aesthetic ambition with reliable mechanics.
Proportions That Convince
Despite the richly decorated surface, the watch remains surprisingly restrained in size: with a 40 mm diameter, 44 mm lug-to-lug, and a total height under ten millimeters, the Arsenale Bizantino sits elegantly and flat on the wrist without the decoration diminishing its wearability.
Dial and Legibility
The brass-made enamel dial with smoky sunburst effect captures the light and reveals it in concentric layers; the hands and indices are proportioned so that readability and ornamentation work together. Practicality is enhanced by Swiss-made BGW9 Super-LumiNova®, which provides discreet orientation at dusk.
Back as a Narrative
The solidly crafted case back is more than a closure: it shows the figures of Justinian and Theodora in the finest engraving, reduced yet expressive, thus connecting the watch’s motif with the historical relationship between Byzantium and the Serenissima. The numbered edition on the back also emphasizes the uniqueness of each individual piece.
Bracelet as a Continuation
The strap seamlessly continues the design idea: to the left and right of the clasp, the sequence of ornamentation continues the visual rhythm, so that case and bracelet appear as a single sculptural surface. The precision of the workmanship ensures that the tactile feel of the engravings enriches rather than disturbs when worn.

My name is David and I have been deeply involved with watches for many years – not only as a dealer but especially as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I have been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project with reviews, videos, and genuine wearing experiences. Many of the watches you find here I have worn myself – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is deliberately kept personal. I only sell watches that I truly stand behind – no anonymous mass products, no dropshipping, no “quick trends.” Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are my priorities.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I like good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a noted weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

You wrote to me via the contact form, through the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you haven't received a reply?
Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and pushing more and more into spam.
I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it can sometimes take a bit longer. As a rule, I respond within a few minutes or hours.
