The new BRISTON Streamliner URBAN 10th Anniversary: Swiss mechanics come to BRISTON. 231443.S.T.2.LABR

BRISTON celebrates its 10th birthday with the launch of the Streamliner Urban Automatic Chronograph. Power reserve with the Sellita SW500a up to 62 hours.

Exclusively numbered to 50 pieces for each dial variation, the new Streamliner is a pure embodiment of BRISTON's know-how. Equipped with a 43mm case and an exceptional design in the Streamliner tradition, the new model incorporates the high-class Swiss caliber Sellita SW500a. The top-of-the-line movement, a clone of the famous ETA7750, features a chronograph function with a 12-hour counter, 30-minute counter, small seconds, and day and date display.

In typical BRISTON style, the case is not only made of 316 stainless steel but has also been equipped with a protective shield made of cotton resin. The resin (cellulose acetate) has been manufactured by a factory in Italy since the 1940s for a sunglasses manufacturer and is specially milled from solid and hand-polished for BRISTON. Due to its vegetable content, the material has pleasant haptic properties and absorbs warmth, so you don't "sweat." Additionally, its slight elasticity ensures near indestructibility. It features a fine, tortoiseshell-like pattern that varies with each piece – each piece is therefore unique.

A fine three-dimensional embossing adorns the dial, creating a contrast to the clear, functional arrangement of the color-marked counters. The sapphire crystal is framed by a matted stainless steel bezel with 4 prominent screws. The chronograph pushers in a stainless steel guide are finely polished, and the crown is engraved with the BRISTON crest. The central chronograph seconds hand also bears the finely skeletonized Briston crest. The Swiss chronograph caliber can be observed at work through the sapphire crystal case back.

The unique features of the Streamliner Urban 10th Anniversary are found in each of these details, making it a unique model and for the first time a Swiss Made. The two dials that comprise this exclusive series are not only easy to read thanks to their graphic design, but also sporty with an inner ring featuring a tachymeter scale. Square with rounded corners, the three distinctively colored counters have been carefully beveled to lead to a central sunray section. Each of these dials is embossed with the "waffle" motif, which is the hallmark of the Streamliner Urban line.

Purity of line and craftsmanship define this new Streamliner. With a sapphire crystal, the tonneau-cambered shape of the bezel keeps its four screws visible, while the case body made of tortoiseshell acetate is crafted with a polished satin finish on the rest of the case. The new case features a transparent case back, revealing the automatic movement with a rotor specially engraved with the Briston logo and the mention "10th Anniversary".

Briston celebrates its 10th anniversary! To celebrate this unique event in the life of the French brand, Briston offers its first automatic chronograph model in a Swiss Made Limited Series. This Streamliner Urban 10th Anniversary watch embodies all the codes that collectors love to see:

  • 43 mm case in brushed steel and tortoiseshell acetate,
  • SW500a automatic Swiss chronograph movement (28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz) and 25 jewels),
  • Chronograph day/date function,
  • silver-white dial with "waffle" pattern and 3 counters (small seconds, 30 minutes, and 12 hours),
  • Inner bezel with tachymetric scale,
  • Sapphire crystal 2.4 mm thick,
  • Transparent case back revealing the mechanism and oscillating weight with special Briston 10th Anniversary engraving.

My conclusion on the BRISTON Streamliner URBAN 10th Anniversary white Chronograph:

David Drilling

"Briston is also a brand new name for me, even though it's celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. Founder Brice Jaunet created his own watch brand after 15 years in the watch industry. During these years, he worked for the two largest watch groups in the world, starting with Richemont (Cartier). He then worked for Baume & Mercier and continued his international career with Raymond Weil. He eventually joined the LVMH Group as Export Director for the Zenith brand and then as Vice-President International Marketing. He then took over the management of the brand in France.

Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit from early childhood and the legacy of his grandfather Jacques, co-founder of the NewMan brand in 1967, Brice has always cultivated the ambition to bring his creativity to life. In 2012, he teamed up with several Swiss designer friends to create a watch brand that reflected his personality, his thoughts, and his research. Brice Jaunet wanted to create a beautiful and authentic, yet affordable watch. And in my opinion, he succeeded more than admirably."

About David from WATCHDAVID

My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.

Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.

WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.

And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

If you have any questions or are unsure, feel free to contact me directly. I will respond personally.

You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.

I will cover the return shipping costs for you.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

Authenticity & Condition of the Watches

I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).

As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...

Warranty & Service

All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.

Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.

Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
