All about the Circula ProFlight anthracite pilot's watch
Pilot's watches were developed about a century ago to help pilots reliably and precisely display the time while flying. The most important features of a classic pilot's watch are robustness and an easy-to-read dial.
Although these watches are no longer worn exclusively by pilots, these aviation traditions are reflected in the current models. Our Circula ProFlight combines historical elements of pilot watches with modern design, creating a timeless aesthetic. With a diameter of 40 mm, our pilot watches are ideal for most wrists.
Similar to Field Watches, our mechanical pilot's watch does not have a rotating bezel. The ProFlight is a classic three-hand watch with the characteristically large numbers of a pilot's watch. These, as well as the indices and hands, are filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova® so that the time can be read easily and precisely even in the dark. Instead of the 12 o'clock position there is the triangle with two points typical of model A, which previously enabled pilots to tell the time at a glance, even under stress or in poor visibility conditions.
Thanks to a soft iron cage, our high-quality pilot's watch is antimagnetic up to 80,000 A/m, which protects the mechanical movement (Sellita SW200-1 in Elaboré version) from magnetic fields in cockpits as well as from the influences of smartphones, laptops and others protects electronic devices. The 316L stainless steel case is particularly scratch-resistant thanks to a special surface treatment and sapphire crystal. With a water resistance of up to 15 ATM, the pilot's watch is not only ideally equipped for everyday use, but also for water landings and subsequent swimming and diving.

The ProFlight is a unique pilot's watch that skilfully combines modern design with the classic features of historical pilot's watches. The carefully hand-sandblasted, faceted stainless steel case is not only robust, but also antimagnetic up to 80,000 A/m and protects the reliable Swiss movement inside. With sapphire crystal and a special surface treatment, the case is particularly resistant to scratches and everyday wear and tear.
The numerals on the dial are individually designed to ensure perfect legibility and reflect the design codes of the case through a subtle mix of hard edges and precise curves. A circular structure inside the dial reflects the rotation of the “propeller” second hand, giving the watch a dynamic and striking look.
As a traditional Pforzheim brand, Circula stands for quality “Made in Germany”. The ProFlight is equipped with a Swiss automatic movement, the Sellita SW200-1 caliber in Elaboré design. Additionally, the watch offers antimagnetism up to 80,000 A/m thanks to a soft iron cage that protects the movement from interference from magnetic fields. The case is scratch-resistant up to 1,200 Vickers thanks to surface hardening, and both the hands and indices are filled with Swiss Super-LumiNova®, which guarantees optimal readability even in poor lighting conditions. The ProFlight is also waterproof to 150 meters and features a luminous, screw-down crown. With a diameter of 40 mm, a length of 46 mm from horn to horn and a height of 12 mm, the watch is perfectly sized for a comfortable fit on the wrist.

My personal view on the Circula ProFlight anthracite pilot's watch
"I have known Cornelius Huber and the Circula watch brand since 2019. You can read the brand history in the 2020 interview. In the third generation, Circula has been manufacturing authentic functional watches in Pforzheim since 1955. As a family business based in Pforzheim, Circula Watches has been producing distinctive, precise and reliable mechanical functional watches for more than 60 years. They build watches that are robust and perfect for all adventures, on land, air or water. I am very impressed by the variety & quality of the watches. FAQs
About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.
So come along on a journey full of watches... off the mainstream... and if you have a question, please feel free to ask me anytime via the form, chat, WhatsApp, email or phone.
I am very much looking forward to meeting you.
PS: My hobbies & passions include the internet (first agency already in 1996), Denmark, France's coasts (Brittany, Normandy & Côte d’Azur), hiking, e-MTB, sales (Bachelor of Sales) and photography.
My Achilles' heel includes children's chocolate, good food, sneakers & of course watches... :-)
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.
Please simply contact me for this. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
