Introducing the AQUASPHERE Collection

With the new AQUASPHERE collection, Hanhart is opening an entirely new chapter in its company history. As a renowned manufacturer of pilot and motorsport watches from the Black Forest, Hanhart is launching its first independent diver's watch series. The first model in this series, the AQUASPHERE FreeFall Blue, measures 42 mm in diameter and aims to compete with the best diver's watches in the world. The traditional brand thus sends a clear signal that it offers peak performance not only above, but also below water.

Acid Test Under Extreme Conditions

A special highlight: Fabio Tunno, Germany's deepest freediver, tested the watch for months under real conditions. Even during an impressive dive to a depth of 110 meters, the AQUASPHERE FreeFall Blue proved its reliability. Hanhart's core principles of maximum functionality, ease of use, precise accuracy, and optimal readability thus also apply in the deep. Fabio Tunno praised the watch as a reliable companion in his competitions, whether in local lakes or on colorful coral reefs.

Inspired by Its Own History

Known for its iconic pilot watches like the 417 ES, Hanhart had to look to the future to evolve. Until now, there was no collection that met the demands of diving while also boasting a modern design. Over three years ago, the team began developing the new AQUASPHERE to fill precisely this gap. The best features of the proven PRIMUS Diver were incorporated into the new model. The result: a watch that seamlessly combines technical precision and modern design.

Technical Sophistication and Sporty Design

The AQUASPHERE FreeFall Blue impresses with its robust construction and a variety of technical innovations. The characteristic fluted bezel of the PRIMUS Diver was adopted but technically refined. More rounded radii and an optimized click mechanism with 60 precise clicks offer maximum safety, as the bezel can only be rotated counter-clockwise. This prevents unintentional shortening of the dive time.

Robust and Functional for the Deep

For deep dives, the watch is water-resistant up to 30 ATM (approx. 300 meters) and features a helium valve at 10 o'clock, specially designed for deep dives in hyperbaric chambers. This protects the watch from damage during the decompression phase. A crown guard provides additional security, while the double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal prevents scratches and reflections.

Superior Legibility Underwater

The legibility of the watch is excellent even in extreme lighting conditions. The hands, appliques, and the numeral 12 on the dial are coated with Super-LumiNova® C1. Likewise, the numerals, indices, and the triangle on the ceramic bezel are luminous to make important information quickly accessible. The hour hand is equipped with an additional bridge to clearly distinguish it from the minute hand, while the tip of the second hand is painted red, increasing visibility. The rehaut at the edge of the dial also allows for a more precise second reading.

Choice Between Textile and Stainless Steel Strap

The AQUASPHERE FreeFall Blue is available with either a Hookstrap™ textile strap or a robust stainless steel bracelet. The textile strap is characterized by its easy adjustability and low weight, ideal for sports activities. The stainless steel bracelet, on the other hand, scores with its durability and easy maintenance. It features a quick-change mechanism and a clasp with a diver's extension and fine adjustment option, making the watch particularly flexible to use.
