Just one year later, in 1939, Hanhart presented the first pilot's chronographs with the "Caliber 41," a column-wheel movement that integrated the innovative flyback function. This function allowed the stopwatch to be reset and a new time measurement to be started immediately with a single push.

In the 1990s, Hanhart revisited this glorious past and began offering faithful reproductions of its historical chronographs. These re-editions were met with great enthusiasm by collectors and watch enthusiasts, as they perfectly embodied the combination of tradition and modern watchmaking.
