Silva – A homage to the Black Forest

The name Silva, derived from the Latin word for “forest”, already points to the origin of the latest addition to the PIONEER collection. In the heart of the deep Black Forest, in picturesque Gutenbach, Hanhart's experienced watchmakers produce each model of the new PIONEER Silva by hand. With a diameter of 38.5 mm and a case height of 10 mm, the Silva presents itself as minimalist, slim and reduced to the essentials. The design of the dial combines modern elements with classic touches that are reminiscent of bygone times.

Timeless inspiration from the company's history

The PIONEER Silva is based on a historical model from the Hanhart Museum: the Caliber 36/39. This watch, equipped with a simple design and 15 jewels, served as a source of inspiration for the new model. Hanhart has carefully modernized the original design while retaining the characteristic vintage charm. The case is made of polished stainless steel and emphasizes the simple elegance of the watch. With a Lug-to-Lug measurement of 44 mm it fits perfectly on the wrist and is ideal for everyday use.

Attention to detail and maximum precision

The crown of the Silva proudly bears Hanhart's historic "h" logo, while the convex, anti-reflective sapphire crystal offers optimal protection against scratches. The watch is waterproof up to 5 bar (5 ATM), which makes it robust enough for a wide range of everyday situations. The precise automatic movement Sellita SW 200 works inside, which is characterized by its high reliability and Swiss Made quality. With a power reserve of up to 38 hours and a stop-seconds function, the movement meets the highest requirements. The skeletonized Hanhart rotor is visible through the screw-down sapphire crystal back, providing a fascinating insight into the watch's mechanics.

The dial of the Silva impresses with its clarity and functionality. The straight-lined hands and the distinctive dots between the numbers were taken from the historical model and ensure perfect readability. The historic Hanhart logo is also prominently featured on the dial, which gives the watch a special authenticity.

A black calfskin strap, which is lined with Alcantara on the inside, or alternatively a Milanese steel bracelet ensures maximum comfort. The pin buckle also bears the historic Hanhart logo and ensures a secure hold on the wrist.
