Silva – An Homage to the Black Forest
The name Silva, derived from the Latin word for "forest", already hints at the origin of the latest addition to the PIONEER collection. In the heart of the deep Black Forest, in picturesque Gütenbach, Hanhart's experienced watchmakers meticulously craft each model of the new PIONEER Silva by hand. With a diameter of 38.5 mm and a case height of 10 mm, the Silva presents itself as minimalist, slim, and reduced to the essentials. The dial design combines modern elements with classic touches that evoke past eras.
Timeless Inspiration from Company History
The PIONEER Silva is based on a historical model from the Hanhart museum: the caliber 36/39. This watch, equipped with a simple design and 15 jewels, served as inspiration for the new model. Hanhart has carefully modernized the original design while preserving its characteristic vintage charm. The case is made of polished stainless steel, emphasizing the watch's simple elegance. With a lug-to-lug measurement of 44 mm, it fits perfectly on the wrist and is ideal for daily wear.

The crown of the Silva proudly bears Hanhart's historic "h" logo, while the domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal offers optimal scratch protection. The watch is water-resistant up to 5 bar (5 ATM), making it robust enough for various everyday situations. Inside, the precise automatic movement Sellita SW 200 works, distinguished by its high reliability and Swiss Made quality. With a power reserve of up to 38 hours and a stop-seconds function, the movement meets the highest demands. My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

Mechanics - Sometimes things can go wrong
Before I ship your order, I carefully inspect each watch for visible defects.
However, should a problem arise, such as a defect during transit, please inform me immediately. I will do everything in my power to find a quick solution and ensure your satisfaction.
