On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Allied D-Day landings, we are proud to present our new model from Le Forban Sécurité Mer: the "Omaha" chronograph. This watch is a tribute to the bravery of the American soldiers who landed on the beaches of Normandy in 1944, especially Omaha Beach. In our imagination, we tried to envision what a waterproof watch might have looked like during that era. We were inspired by chronographs of the 1940s, characterized by gilded sub-dials, large numerals, and distinctive "onion" crowns.
Limited to 44 pieces worldwide.
The "Omaha" chronograph has a case diameter of 39 mm (40 mm measured over the bezel) and an overall length of 46 mm from lug to lug. The case thickness is 13.9 mm, measuring 11.82 mm without the crystal. The watch is powered by the automatic Seiko NE86 chronograph movement. The case is made of polished and brushed 316L stainless steel, while the dial is available in military sunray green or sunray black, with gilded sub-dials and indices featuring old-radium style SuperLuminova.
The watch features a unidirectional rotating, serrated bezel made of steel with an aluminum insert, as well as a domed sapphire crystal. The vintage "onion" crown is equipped with a double O-ring and guarantees water resistance up to 50 meters. The design is completed by a vintage-look leather strap, fitted with a custom-designed Le Forban clasp. The lugs have a width of 20 mm, making the "Omaha" chronograph a stylish and robust tribute to the watches of the past.

"Chronographen haben im Hause Le Forban Sécurité Mer eine lange Tradition. In die Reihe geschichtsträchtiger Chronos seit 1969 reiht sich nun auch die Omaha ein, die der ganze Stolz der wiederbelebten Marke aus Frankreich ist. Erhältlich in zwei verschiedenen Farben erinnert die Omaha an den D-Day, als Alliierte vor 80 Jahren an den Strand der Normandie gelangten. Die Uhr wird dem geschichtsträchtigen Ereignis optisch definitiv gerecht. Gerade das Modell mit olivfarbenem Zifferblatt sieht hervorragend aus. Von Le Forban gewohnt sind wir zudem die hervorragende Qualität, die sich am Edelstahlgehäuse und am schicken Lederband im Retro-Look bewundern lässt. Das Seiko ist in seiner BESTEN Ausführung verbaut, auch beim Lume hat man nicht gespart; Swiss Super Luminova... ein echter Leuchtkeks, schaut euch das Video an. Die Limitierung der Grünen Omaha ist halt der Knaller. Mit dieser riesigen Toolbox und "Erkennungsmarke" ein echt tolles Set. Aber auch die Schwarze Omaha ist jeden Cent wert. Einfach tolle Uhren! "
