The 34 mm Marathon General Purpose Quartz with MaraGlo luminous material (GPQ-M) was specially manufactured according to the military standard MIL-PRF-46374G, Type I, Class 1 – a standard that guarantees uncompromising functionality. Originally designed for military use, this watch brings the highest technical demands into a robust, wearable format for civilian everyday life.
Compact, lightweight, and ready for action
The case is made of a particularly durable composite fiber shell that offers extreme durability with minimal weight. With a diameter of 34 mm, the watch discreetly adapts to the wrist and is ideal for all-day use – whether in the field, on duty, or in everyday life. The matte black surface reduces reflections to a minimum and emphasizes the functional aesthetics of this military-inspired field watch.
Reliable technology inside
Inside the GPQ-M works the reliable ETA High-Torque FØ6 quartz movement, which impresses with its durability and energy efficiency. Three synthetic rubies minimize mechanical wear and support the precise running of the watch – even under difficult conditions. The 12-hour main scale is complemented by an additional 24-hour scale, making the watch perfect for military or tactical use.
Clearly readable – even in the dark
The hour markers and hands are coated with MaraGlo luminous material, which impresses with its long-lasting glow. Once charged, it provides clearly visible readability for up to eight hours – ideal in low light conditions or nighttime operations. Unlike tritium-based luminous systems, MaraGlo is environmentally friendly and maintenance-free.
Robust construction with protection factor
A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal reliably protects the dial from impacts and scratches, significantly increasing the watch's lifespan. The press-fitted crown contributes to water resistance of up to 3 ATM and makes the watch splash-proof – perfect for everyday situations or occasional contact with water. Although not designed for diving, it easily withstands the challenges of rough terrain.

About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

You wrote to me via the contact form, through the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you haven't received a reply?
Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and pushing more and more into spam.
I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it can sometimes take a bit longer. As a rule, I respond within a few minutes or hours.
