A reinterpretation of military tradition
With this watch, Marathon brings back a revised version of the legendary Steel Navigator – a model originally developed in 1986 in collaboration with the Kelly Air Force Base. This robust tool watch is a reliable companion for extreme missions and was specifically designed to meet the demands of pilots and military personnel. The new edition stays true to the DNA of the original but combines it with state-of-the-art technology and improved wearing comfort.
Precision from Switzerland
Inside works a particularly high-torque quartz movement, manufactured in Switzerland by the renowned ETA SA Manufacture Horlogère Suisse. The installed caliber ETA F06.115 with HeavyDrive technology ensures maximum timekeeping stability and features three jewels. This type of movement is designed for durability and resilience – ideal for a watch that must endure challenging conditions.
Robustness in every respect
The case consists of a highly impact-resistant composite fiber shell, which is not only light but also particularly durable. With a water resistance of 6 ATM (equivalent to 60 meters), the watch is also suitable for wet environments. The bi-directional rotating bezel allows precise time measurements, while the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal ensures the dial remains easily readable. The screw-down crown fits securely into the case – another detail that underlines everyday suitability.
Compact, functional format
With a diameter of 41 mm, a length over the lugs of 44 mm, and a height of only 11 mm, the watch wears comfortably discreetly without lacking presence on the wrist. The lug width of 20 mm allows the use of various straps – a plus for those who like it versatile.
Perfect readability day and night
The black dial is equipped with a 24-hour scale, allowing military time display at a glance. Particularly noteworthy is the luminosity: both the hour indices and the hour and minute hands are equipped with self-illuminating tritium tubes. These require no external light source and ensure permanent readability – a decisive advantage in dark or tactical environments.
Strap of choice – for every situation
For optimal wearing comfort, various strap options are available. Whether the ballistic nylon strap for extreme use or the Marathon nylon DEFSTAN made to military standards – both variants are made for the highest stresses. The straps are secured by a robust pin buckle made of 316L stainless steel and can be quickly and easily exchanged.

About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
