Born from close collaboration with the Canadian government, the GSAR has met the highest military standards since its introduction in the early 1990s. Inside the GSAR works the proven Sellita SW200-1, a mechanical automatic movement with 26 jewels and an Incabloc shock protection system. Supported by a calendar type with date display, the watch remains extremely practical in everyday life.
Clear readability in any light
The dial is not only intuitively readable but also impresses with its dual scaling from 1–12 and 13–24, ideal for military time indications. Another highlight is the tritium gas tubes on hands and indices, which glow continuously on their own – independent of external light sources. Additionally, MaraGlo, a specially developed luminous material by Marathon, provides strong night vision at prominent points such as the bezel marker.
Built for great depths
The GSAR case is made of brushed 316L stainless steel – a material known for its special corrosion resistance. With a diameter of optionally 46 mm, 41 mm, or 36 mm, the watch offers variants for different wrists and purposes. The screw-down crown, together with the thick sapphire crystal, ensures water resistance up to 30 ATM, which corresponds to a depth of 300 meters – fully dive certified.

Also striking is the unidirectional, fully knurled bezel with 60-minute graduation. It can be operated precisely even with gloves and thus meets the high requirements of the ISO standards for professional dive watches. Every rotation is precisely felt and audibly heard – an important safety feature during dives.

"I am sure that many of you neither know Marathon nor GSAR. Read everything more closely, then you will immediately know what this is about. A dreamily wearable diver's watch according to military standards, which is at the top of the list worldwide for the military, special forces, civil service, as well as watch collectors & fans. Marathon has known what they are doing since 1939. Here even the straps are Swiss Made (which is not the case with many brands!). Furthermore, the tritium gas tubes and MaraGlo ensure an exceptionally high readability at night. This combination does not exist with any other watch brand or watch. I definitely will NOT give up my Marathon GSAR!"

My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
