The Jumbo Day/Date Automatic – or JDD for short – is more than just a classic field watch. It was developed from the ground up for military everyday use and combines uncompromising functionality with impressive robustness. With its case diameter of a solid 46 millimeters, it is one of the most distinctive models in the SAR line and is thus well equipped to perform confidently even under extreme conditions. The case is made of durable 316L stainless steel with a brushed finish, which not only provides a subtle look but also protects against distracting light reflections – a crucial advantage in tactical operations.
Thoughtfully designed for international missions
Inside the JDD works a precise, Swiss-made automatic movement: The Sellita SW220 guarantees reliable timekeeping and is further protected by the proven Incabloc™ shock protection system. With 25 jewels, this movement ensures not only smooth operation but also high durability – even under constant use. Particularly practical: The day and date window is designed to be bilingual and can be displayed in both English and French. This makes the watch ideal for multinational missions where flexibility and clarity are important.
Visibility by day and night
Regarding readability, the JDD relies on a dual solution: on the one hand, tritium gas tubes are used, which provide consistently good visibility through their self-illuminating properties – independent of external light. On the other hand, the proven MaraGlo technology has been additionally integrated, which offers quick charging and strong luminosity especially with short light pulses. This combination makes the JDD a reliable timekeeper even in complete darkness.
Protection where it counts most
Another important element in the watch's construction is the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, which securely protects the dial from mechanical impacts. The screw-down crown and the solid case construction contribute to the high water resistance – the JDD is pressure-resistant up to 30 ATM. This means it can easily withstand prolonged underwater use. The unidirectional rotating bezel with a 60-minute scale also allows precise time measurement, for example during diving or tactical operations.
Assertive in every situation
With a lug width of 22 millimeters and a case thickness of 18 millimeters, the JDD conveys a sense of stability and strength from the very first wear. Despite its size, it sits comfortably on the wrist thanks to its ergonomic design and does not cause discomfort even during extended use. The included three-piece rubber band set offers additional comfort and can be individually adjusted – ideal for changing conditions or extreme temperatures. About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
