The Jumbo Day/Date Automatic – JDD for short – is more than just a classic mission watch. It was developed from the ground up for everyday military use, combining uncompromising functionality with impressive robustness. With a case diameter of a full 46 millimeters, it is one of the most striking models in the SAR line, making it well-equipped to perform confidently even in extreme conditions. The case is made of durable 316L stainless steel with a brushed finish, which not only provides a subtle look but also protects against disruptive light reflections – a crucial advantage in tactical operations.
Designed for International Missions
Inside the JDD, a precise, Swiss-made automatic movement operates: the Sellita SW220 guarantees reliable timekeeping and is further protected by the proven Incabloc™ shock protection system. With 25 jewels, this movement ensures not only smooth operation but also high durability – even under constant strain. Particularly practical: The day and date window is bilingual and can be displayed in both English and French. This makes the watch ideal for multinational operations where flexibility and comprehensibility play an important role.
Visibility Day and Night
Regarding readability, the JDD employs a dual solution: Firstly, tritium gas tubes are used, which, due to their self-luminous properties, ensure consistently good visibility – regardless of external light. Secondly, the proven MaraGlo technology has also been integrated, providing quick charging and strong luminescence, especially with short light impulses. This combination makes the JDD a reliable timepiece even in complete darkness.
Protection Where It Matters Most
Another important element in the watch's construction is the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, which reliably protects the dial from mechanical impacts. The screw-down crown and the solid construction of the case contribute to its high water resistance – the JDD is pressure-resistant up to 30 ATM. This means it can easily withstand longer underwater missions. The unidirectional rotating bezel with a 60-minute scale also allows for precise time measurement, for example during diving or tactical operations.

With a lug width of 22 millimeters and a case thickness of 18 millimeters, the JDD conveys a sense of stability and strength from the very first wear. Despite its size, its ergonomic design ensures a comfortable fit on the wrist and does not interfere even during prolonged use. The included three-piece rubber strap set offers additional comfort and can be individually adjusted – ideal for changing operational conditions or extreme temperatures. About David from WATCHDAVID
My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
