MARATHON Blue Yonder SSNAV-D Steel Navigator Quartz WW194013SS
All about the MARATHON Blue Yonder SSNAV-D Steel Navigator Quartz WW194013SS
Technical Core
Inside this watch works a high-torque quartz caliber from Switzerland: the ETA F07.115 HeavyDrive by ETA SA in Grenchen. This movement was deliberately designed for increased stress, features three jewel bearings, and provides a reliable battery life indicator through the integrated EOL indicator (End-of-Life) – a practical feature that delivers real added value in situations where availability matters.
Case and Protection
The case is made of brushed 316L stainless steel and conveys a sober, professional presence on the wrist. With a water resistance of 30 ATM / 300 m, the construction is not only designed for diving but also withstands rough use and adverse environmental conditions without losing integrity.
Bezel and visibility
The unidirectional 60-minute bezel operates with 120 clicks and a MaraGlo-illuminated marker that offers immediate orientation even in low ambient light. This combination of fine ratcheting and permanent luminous marking makes timing underwater as reliable as it is intuitive.
Operation and robustness
The screw-down crown provides additional water resistance and protection against accidental operation, while the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal keeps the view of the dial clear. The overall construction of crown, crystal, and case demonstrates a consistent focus on reliability rather than superficial effects.

Dimensions and presence
With a diameter of 46 mm, a lug-to-lug length of 55 mm, and a height of 18 mm, the watch shows a distinct, confident presence on the wrist. These generous proportions are not only visually striking but also enhance operability—especially with gloves or under challenging conditions.
Dial and readability
The black dial combines hour markings in 1–12 and 13–23 formats and relies on clear contrasts; indices as well as hour, minute, and second hands are coated with MaraGlo, enabling quick orientation even at night. A discreetly placed date display at 4:30 complements the practical function without disturbing the dial's symmetry.
Movement functions and everyday practicality
The HeavyDrive caliber not only delivers high driving power for strong hands but also provides a pragmatic EOL signal as an indicator for maintenance or battery replacement. This combination of technology and everyday practicality ensures the watch never fails unexpectedly in use.
Bracelet Options and Wearing Comfort
Two robust strap options are available for different needs: a black Marathon rubber strap with a 316L stainless steel pin buckle for sporty use, and a solid Marathon stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp for lasting durability and elegance. Both options are designed to support the functionality of the timepiece and maintain wearing comfort even during extended use.
Conclusion
This watch is aimed at those seeking an uncompromising mission watch: carefully selected materials, powerful HeavyDrive electronics, excellent readability, and practical features combine to create an instrument that performs under pressure as well as in everyday life. Those who value solid technology and thoughtful details will find a reliable companion here.

FAQs
About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.
So come along on a journey full of watches... off the mainstream... and if you have a question, please feel free to ask me anytime via the form, chat, WhatsApp, email or phone.
I am very much looking forward to meeting you.
PS: My hobbies & passions include the internet (first agency already in 1996), Denmark, France's coasts (Brittany, Normandy & Côte d’Azur), hiking, e-MTB, sales (Bachelor of Sales) and photography.
My Achilles' heel includes children's chocolate, good food, sneakers & of course watches... :-)
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.
Please simply contact me for this. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
No response received?
You wrote to me via the contact form, through the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you haven't received a reply?
Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and pushing more and more into spam.
I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it can sometimes take a bit longer. As a rule, I respond within a few minutes or hours.
Something can slip past me sometimes too. Or the technology doesn't work as it should. Feel free to write to me again at david@watchdavid.com
Mechanics - Sometimes things can happen there too
Before I ship your order, I carefully check each watch for visible defects.
If a problem should occur, such as damage during transport, please inform me immediately. I will do everything possible to quickly find a solution and ensure that you are satisfied.
My goal is to offer you not only high-quality products but also a first-class shopping experience. I look forward to welcoming you as a satisfied customer!
