This revised version of the "Steel Navigator" remains true to its military roots, but relies on modern materials and technology to more than meet today's requirements. The case is made of high-quality 316L stainless steel, which has been additionally made corrosion-resistant through a process called Parkerizing, a phosphate conversion coating. The matte surface not only ensures reduced light reflection but also emphasizes the watch's tactical appearance. With water resistance up to 10 ATM (100 meters), the Blue Yonder remains a reliable companion even in water.

The deep blue dial offers clear, high-contrast readability. In addition to the classic 12-hour display, a 24-hour scale is also integrated – perfect for military or international use. Particularly noteworthy is the use of tritium tubes for illumination: these ensure permanent readability without external light sources, whether during night flights or in use under difficult lighting conditions. The hour, minute, and second hands are also equipped with tritium, guaranteeing consistent, long-lasting luminescence.

The bezel is bi-directionally rotatable and finely graduated with 90 clicks. Together with the screw-down crown, it offers a high degree of functionality and security. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal effectively protects the dial from damage and contributes to the overall longevity of the watch.

With a diameter of 41 mm and a case height of only 11.5 mm, the Blue Yonder wears comfortably and compactly despite its robust construction.
