All about the OLECH & WAJS OW 56 M (LIMITED EDITION)
A production journey that began decades ago ends with the new - but not so new - Ollech & Wajs 56 M. Not just inspired by history, but a piece of history itself. A watch that combines vintage parts from new, old stocks with contemporary parts. The 38mm case was recycled from unused stock that Ollech & Wajs acquired in the late 90s but had manufactured a few years earlier.
Estimated delivery time is approximately 3-4 weeks from order date. Three year guarantee from the date of purchase.
OLECH & WAJS OW 56 M (LIMITED EDITION)
The 56 M's classic case profile pays homage to military pilot watches of the late 1940s, and collectors of vintage OW watches will recognize it from historic models such as the Valjoux 7733 Flieger and the MP series.
Reflecting OW's long military heritage, Morse code in dot and dash form has been integrated into the bezel and dial, combined with a mix of white and beige Super -LumiNova®.
The 56 M uses the last remaining stock of ETA 2824 automatic movements from OW, which have been fully serviced and remanufactured after many years in the vault. Other parts that were reused from the historical OW inventory include the traditional Plexiglass and the admiralty gray dial.
A detail that breaks with tradition are the words “Ollech & Wajs” printed on the dial. The 56 M is only the second watch in OW's 67-year history to feature the founders' names on the dial. Our watches typically only bear the company initials, framed by the famous Propeller monogram.
This deviation is intended to ensure that the 56 M in years can be easily identified as a hybrid of vintage and new parts and not be confused with previous OW models will share the same parts.
The OW 56 M is presented on a robust, heavy stainless steel mesh bracelet, with "OWZ 1956" on a pin buckle engraved.
Given the limited availability of parts, the OW 56 M has been limited to only 56 numbered pieces.

About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it can sometimes take a bit longer. As a rule, I respond within a few minutes or hours.
