OLECH & WAJS OW C-1000 MkII diving watch 1,000m
All about the OLECH & WAJS OW C-1000 MkII diving watch 1,000m
The OLLECH & WAJS OW C-1000 MkII Diver's Watch is a product of modern Swiss watchmaking and is powered by the custom automatic caliber Soprod Newton Precision P092 from OW.
COSC variant possible. Please inquire.
The Soprod Newton caliber is independently tested for reliability and durability at the internationally renowned Laboratoire Dubois in Chaux-de-Fonds. The OW customers have praised it highly: many claim it is the most precise movement they have ever owned.
OLLECH & WAJS OW C-1000 MkII Diver's Watch 1,000m
The movement, modified according to OW specifications and adjusted in five positions, has been refined according to our robust aesthetic. The nickel-plated case back is engraved with the inscription "OW Zurich 1956", on which sits a custom-designed rotor shaped like the OW brand, co-created by us. The unique new movement carries the OW proprietary designation "Precision", reserved only for movements of the highest quality.
The movement
The movement is housed in a 39.56 mm, 1000 m water-resistant case made of 316L stainless steel, which is stamped, machined, and brushed in the Swiss Jura. The OW C-1000 S also features a reinforced case back, an extra-strong, domed sapphire crystal, and a screwed special crown with quadruple sealing. The watch has a rotating stainless steel bezel with a mineral insert for measuring dive times, as well as Super-LumiNova®-coated indexes and hands for better readability when diving at extreme depths.
The OLLECH & WAJS OW C-1000 MkII comes with three different straps:
The stainless steel strap of the OW C-1000 type OW S Mark II was inspired by the straps of earlier Ollech & Wajs models from the precision line of the 1960s, including the legendary Caribbean 1000. Its links are individually milled from a solid block of 316L stainless steel before being carefully hand-brushed, assembled, and screwed together. This process prevents the stretching common in pressed steel straps and ensures both durability and wearing comfort. The strap's double folding clasp prevents accidental opening and is easy for divers to handle.

In honor of the ocean and Arctic explorers who wore the Caribbean 1000, there is the ever-popular rubber expedition strap. It is made from high-quality, pollutant-free rubber, feels soft, and fits perfectly around the wrist. Thanks to its insulating properties, it remains flexible even at low temperatures, providing comfort during cold water diving. Additionally, it is abrasion-resistant, deformable, heat- and oil-resistant. On the smooth, matte black outer side, a centimeter and inch scale as well as a cartographic scale of 1:25000 are embossed.
On the back are the Morse alphabet and a conversion table for meters, yards, and feet. Made by an Italian rubber specialist with 40 years of experience in strap development and handcrafted in Switzerland, with two brushed stainless steel clasps and a pin buckle signed "OWZ 1956". This strap not only keeps your watch in place - it helps you calculate, translate, and navigate.
On the occasion of the launch of the C-1000 MkII, there is also a new solid color nylon strap in RAF style with the inscription "Freediver". The thin white line woven through the strap symbolizes the static line that freedivers use to orient themselves in the darkness and resurface. The strap is equipped with an engraved OWZ pin buckle and two stainless steel clasps. The "Freediver" strap is available both with the rubber expedition strap and the S-type strap.

My personal view on the OLECH & WAJS OW C-1000 MkII diving watch 1,000m
"An icon returns – and how! Ollech & Wajs introduce the OW C-1000 MkII, derived from one of the most groundbreaking diving watches of all time. In the race for the greatest waterproofness, the Caribbean 1000 set new standards in the 1960s. The C-1000 MkII also carries their genes. Not only has the high water resistance remained, the Swiss diving watch is also visually reminiscent of its ancestor - without copying it. However, appearance and waterproofness alone are not enough to revive an icon. Ollech & Wajs know how to give us a feeling of value, craftsmanship and tradition with the OW C-1000 MkII. With three different bracelets you can use the functional diver flexibly."

FAQs
About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.
So come along on a journey full of watches... off the mainstream... and if you have a question, please feel free to ask me anytime via the form, chat, WhatsApp, email or phone.
I am very much looking forward to meeting you.
PS: My hobbies & passions include the internet (first agency already in 1996), Denmark, France's coasts (Brittany, Normandy & Côte d’Azur), hiking, e-MTB, sales (Bachelor of Sales) and photography.
My Achilles' heel includes children's chocolate, good food, sneakers & of course watches... :-)
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.
Please simply contact me for this. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it can sometimes take a bit longer. As a rule, I respond within a few minutes or hours.
Something can slip past me sometimes too. Or the technology doesn't work as it should. Feel free to write to me again at david@watchdavid.com
