All about the OLLECH & WAJS OW M-52B AF
The OLLECH & WAJS OW M-52B AF - When professionals put their trust in their equipment, be it a 220-ton aircraft or a mechanical wristwatch, reliability is paramount. The M-52B AF, like all OW watches, is built around this fundamental principle.
The new watch features a robust 39mm M-type case and a PVD-coated bezel with chamfered edges, reminiscent of the B-52's streamlined nose cone profile.
Three generations of US military pilots have flown the 750 aircraft built between 1952 and 1962, 70 of which are still in service today.
OLLECH & WAJS OW M-52B AF
The dial of the new OLLECH & WAJS OW M-52B AF bears the distinctive silhouette of the most iconic combat aircraft of all time, the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress. A strong symbol of the Cold War and, from an engineering perspective, a symbol of longevity and reliability. 2024 marks the 70th anniversary of the first flight of the first production model B-52 from 1954.
Intermittent cream-coloured luminescent material on the bezel, dial indices, and hands adds warmth to the overall monochromatic design. Vintage enthusiasts will appreciate the red date wheel, in keeping with the original B-905.
At the heart of the M-52B AF is a custom-made, Swiss-made Soprod calibre P024, selected for its robustness, reliability, and ease of maintenance. A gently domed, thickened sapphire crystal contributes to the impressive 300m water resistance, which has become a hallmark of all modern Ollech & Wajs pilot watches.

The M-52B AF is presented on a military black nylon RAF strap. A custom-made M-Heritage 20mm stainless steel mesh bracelet with a hand-brushed, engraved pin buckle can be ordered as an additional accessory for 126 CHF.
While not quite as hard to find as the vintage watch that inspired it, availability of the M-52B AF will be limited. There will only be 56 numbered editions with an engraved crown at launch. Thereafter, a limited production of unnumbered watches will be available each year.

FAQs
About David from WATCHDAVID
My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.
If you have any questions or are unsure, feel free to contact me directly. I will respond personally.
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.
To do this, please simply contact me. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
No answer received?
You contacted me, via the contact form, about the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you didn't receive a reply?
Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and crazier and are sending more and more to spam.
I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it may take a little longer. As a rule, I reply within a few minutes or hours.
Something can also slip through for me. Or the technology isn't working as it should. Feel free to contact me again. david@watchdavid.com
Mechanics - Sometimes things can go wrong
Before I ship your order, I carefully inspect each watch for visible defects.
However, should a problem arise, such as a defect during transit, please inform me immediately. I will do everything in my power to find a quick solution and ensure your satisfaction.
My goal is to offer you not only high-quality products but also a first-class shopping experience. I look forward to welcoming you as a satisfied customer!
