All about the OLLECH & WAJS OW Ocean Graph
Return of a Field Classic
The OW MK-102 returns from the archives and brings a lost military history to the wrist: inspired by the 1969 K-101, which was once made for the 2nd Infantry Division of the US Army, the watch bears the distinctive Indian Head emblem as a visible sign of courage and perseverance. Anyone who winds the model immediately feels the connection to an era when reliability and robustness decided life and duty — a revival that shows respect for the original while meeting modern expectations.
Design with a Historical Heart
The case made of brushed 316L stainless steel measures 39.5 mm in diameter and was proportionally designed to preserve the robust appearance of the field watch prototype while providing contemporary wearing comfort. The reduced height of about 12.5 mm and the 48 mm lug-to-lug distance ensure a confident fit on the wrist; the screw-down crown, screw-down case back, and rotating steel bezel emphasize the functional, military character of the watch.
Technology that Connects
Inside works the Soprod P024 caliber specially tuned for OW: an automatic movement with 4 Hz, hacking seconds, quick date adjustment, and approximately 38 hours of power reserve, equipped with an OW rotor engraving and specially made screws. These manufacture details show that the reissue not only recalls the original externally but is mechanically refined to meet today’s demands for precision and serviceability.
Operational Suitability and Legibility
Designed for use, the MK-102 offers water resistance of 300 m / 30 ATM and a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating that ensures clear legibility under all lighting conditions. Hands and indices are coated with Super-LumiNova, so the watch reliably performs its duty even in the dark and underwater — features that in practice are much more than technical data: they are the promise of reliability.
Equipment and Wearing Options
The MK-102 comes standard on a military-robust gray RAF strap (20 mm) with a brushed pin buckle; those who prefer a different feel can optionally choose the finely linked M-Heritage Milanese bracelet. These strap options allow the watch to quickly transform from a military-functional look to a more elegant appearance without blurring the model’s core idea — the versatility remains intact.
Limited Edition, Origin, and Presentation
The first 56 pieces feature numbered crowns; thereafter, the famous OW propeller monogram will appear on the winding rotors; each watch is handmade and regulated in the Swiss Jura region, emphasizing the close connection between historical heritage and regional watchmaking art. Equipped with a three-year warranty, the MK-102 is not only a collector’s item but a wearable piece of history that combines everyday usability and authenticity.
Conclusion: A Strong Presence with Substance
The OW MK-102 is more than a reissue: it is a critical reassessment of a field classic that combines historical identity with modern manufacturing standards. Anyone looking for a watch that breathes history, functions strictly in use, and is mechanically sophisticated will find a convincing offer in this limited rebirth — robust, precise, and with genuine character.

FAQs
About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.
So come along on a journey full of watches... off the mainstream... and if you have a question, please feel free to ask me anytime via the form, chat, WhatsApp, email or phone.
I am very much looking forward to meeting you.
PS: My hobbies & passions include the internet (first agency already in 1996), Denmark, France's coasts (Brittany, Normandy & Côte d’Azur), hiking, e-MTB, sales (Bachelor of Sales) and photography.
My Achilles' heel includes children's chocolate, good food, sneakers & of course watches... :-)
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.
Please simply contact me for this. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
No response received?
You wrote to me via the contact form, through the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you haven't received a reply?
Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and pushing more and more into spam.
I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it can sometimes take a bit longer. As a rule, I respond within a few minutes or hours.
Something can slip past me sometimes too. Or the technology doesn't work as it should. Feel free to write to me again at david@watchdavid.com
Mechanics - Sometimes things can happen there too
Before I ship your order, I carefully check each watch for visible defects.
If a problem should occur, such as damage during transport, please inform me immediately. I will do everything possible to quickly find a solution and ensure that you are satisfied.
My goal is to offer you not only high-quality products but also a first-class shopping experience. I look forward to welcoming you as a satisfied customer!
