All about the OLLECH & WAJS OW Ocean Graph MkII
The Ocean Graph MkII opens a new chapter in the history of ambitious dive watches: it combines the robust tradition of the 1968 original with a contemporary, practical approach — developed in close collaboration with Norwegian freediver Siri Østvold. This synergy of professional diving expertise and classic watchmaking craftsmanship results in an instrument that emotionally connects with its historical predecessor while also offering tangible technical advancements.
Design from Experience
What makes the MkII special is its consistent focus on real-world underwater requirements; the collaboration with a competitive freediver ensured that operating elements, legibility, and wearing comfort were conceived not as theoretical desires, but as tested solutions. The watch anticipates needs: every display, every hand, and every click has been re-engineered to be readable in fractions of a second — an advantage particularly felt by freedivers and professional users.
Robustness and Depth
The MkII offers genuine depth reserves: with 1000 m water resistance and a massively screw-down case made of 316L stainless steel, it is designed for extreme use and offers more than mere aesthetics. This technical substance is complemented by careful manufacturing that prioritizes longevity and impermeability — not least a reason why the watch is considered a reliable tool in adverse conditions.
Dimensions and Wearing Comfort
The proportions are remarkably balanced: with a diameter of 39.5 mm and a case height that combines robustness with everyday wearability, the MkII sits solidly on the wrist without dominating. The finely brushed case and ergonomic profile ensure that the watch is comfortable to wear even during long sessions, striking a balance between presence and comfort.
The Multifunctional Bezel
A special feature is the re-imagined rotating bezel, which combines Tide Tracking with a GMT function, a Top-Time countdown, and a 20-minute dive scale. This integration allows for planning tides, keeping track of world times, timing the crucial three minutes before a competitive dive, and precisely documenting the critical first 15–20 minutes of a dive sequence — a multifunctional tool that meaningfully supports various maritime activities.

Dial, Color, and Legibility
The dial adopts a clear, functional concept: a deep blue with high-contrast orange accents ensures immediate readability, while the hands and indices in light green and cream tones are coated with Swiss Super-LumiNova® to provide precise orientation even in low light. This color and luminescence scheme has been adjusted to function reliably underwater as well as in murky daylight on the surface.
Movement and Precision
At the heart of the MkII beats the custom-made Soprod Newton P092, an automatic caliber with 4 Hz and approximately 44 hours of power reserve, designed for stable performance under stress. The first 56 numbered models will be delivered as chronometers; furthermore, official COSC certification is an optional extra, underscoring the brand's ambition to combine the highest precision with durability.
Straps and Adaptability
The MkII comes standard with a handcrafted, blue Perlon strap, offering comfort and water resistance; additionally, three distinctive alternatives can be added: the historical S-Type Mark II “Beads-of-Rice” steel bracelet, the delicate M-Heritage Mesh, and the striking orange FROGMAN rubber strap with practical, embossed scales and tables. These strap options transform the watch from an everyday companion to a specialized instrument — depending on the area of use and personal style.
Manufacture, Testing, and Warranty
Manufactured in the Swiss Jura region, the MkII has been tested for longevity in its production and in independent checks; the Soprod caliber also carries a Chronofiable test, documenting its resilience. Ollech & Wajs offers a three-year warranty, a testament to the quality of workmanship and the robustness of the construction.
Conclusion: Who this watch is made for
The Ocean Graph MkII is aimed at individuals seeking a serious, functional dive watch — be it the professional freediver who needs precise preparation and legibility, or the demanding enthusiast who values historical heritage and modern technology. With its combination of a multifunctional bezel, high water resistance, and thoughtful ergonomics, it is less a fashion statement and more a powerful tool that confidently holds its own both underwater and on land.

FAQs
About David from WATCHDAVID
My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.
If you have any questions or are unsure, feel free to contact me directly. I will respond personally.
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.
To do this, please simply contact me. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
