All about the OLLECH & WAJS OW P-104

The OLLECH & WAJS OW P-104 comes from a time when aviators, engineers and navigators relied on their watches to perform complex calculations on the ground and in the air. Not based on a single OW reference, it is inspired by a range of aviator slide rule watches produced by Ollech & Wajs in the 1960s and 70s. Designed with today's military and professional pilots in mind, the P-104 S features a circular slide rule that can be used to determine differential speed, distance, range and other data.

The dial of the P-104 is configured and designed to evoke cockpit control panels. Its oversized indices and chequered hands are coated with orange Super-LumiNova® to ensure maximum legibility.

Its robust ETA 2824-2 OW3 mechanical movement, adjusted in five positions, makes the P-104 a reliable navigation instrument for high-flying pilots. The movement's main plate is engraved with "Ollech & Wajs Zurich 1956" and fitted with our own milled rotor bearing the famous OW propeller monogram.

In keeping with Ollech & Wajs’ longstanding reputation for extreme water resistance, the P-104 has a depth rating of 300 m / 30 ATM — impressive for a dive watch, let alone a pilot’s watch. The watch is assembled and adjusted in Haute-Sorne in the Swiss Jura, in the historical workshop that has served OW for over 60 years.

The P-104 S is supplied with the OW S-type Mark II rice-grain steel bracelet. This bracelet is inspired by earlier Ollech & Wajs models from the 1960s. The links are individually milled from a solid block of 316L stainless steel before being carefully hand-brushed and screwed together. This process prevents the common stretching found in pressed steel bracelets and ensures both durability and wearing comfort. The bracelet's double-locking deployant clasp prevents accidental opening.

The P-104 is supplied with a high-quality, extremely durable and water-resistant RAF Regiment-style NATO strap. Alternatively, there is a 20 mm wide Italian black leather strap with natural linen, lined with a soft, light brown underside and embossed with the OW emblem. Both strap and bracelet are handmade in Switzerland and feature a brushed stainless steel pin buckle, signed "OWZ 1956".

About David from WATCHDAVID

My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.

Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.

WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.

And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

If you have any questions or are unsure, feel free to contact me directly. I will respond personally.

Shipping & Insurance

Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.

You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...

Revocation & Return Shipping

You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.

I will cover the return shipping costs for you.

IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.

To do this, please simply contact me. david@watchdavid.com

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

Authenticity & Condition of the Watches

I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).

As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...

Warranty & Service

All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.

Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.

Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it may take a little longer. As a rule, I reply within a few minutes or hours.

Something can also slip through for me. Or the technology isn't working as it should. Feel free to contact me again. david@watchdavid.com

Mechanics - Sometimes things can go wrong
