All about the OLLECH & WAJS OW P-104

The OLLECH & WAJS OW P-104 comes from a time when aviators, engineers and navigators relied on their watches to perform complex calculations on the ground and in the air. It is not based on a single OW reference, but is inspired by a series of pilot's slide watches produced by Ollech & Wajs in the 1960s and 70s. Designed with today's military and commercial pilots in mind, the P-104 S is equipped with a circular slide rule that determines differential speed, range, distance and other data let.

The P-104's dial is configured and designed to resemble cockpit control panels. The oversized hour markers and checkered hands are coated with orange Super-LumiNova® to ensure maximum legibility.

Its robust mechanical ETA 2824-2 OW3 movement, adjusted in five positions, makes the P-104 a reliable navigation instrument for high-flying pilots. The movement's main plate is engraved with "Ollech & Wajs Zurich 1956" and features our own milled rotor bearing the famous OW Propeller monogram.

In keeping with Ollech & Wajs' long-standing reputation for extreme water resistance, the P-104 boasts a deep diving capability of 300 m / 30 ATM - impressive for a diving watch, let alone a pilot's watch. The watch is assembled and set in Haute-Sorne in the Swiss Jura, in the historic workshop that has served OW for over 60 years.

The P-104 S comes with the OW S-Type Mark II Rice Grain Stainless Steel Bracelet. This bracelet was inspired by previous Ollech & Wajs models from the 1960s. The links are individually milled from a solid block of 316L stainless steel before being carefully brushed and screwed together by hand. This process eliminates the usual stretching common to pressed steel bracelets, ensuring both durability and comfort when worn. The bracelet's double-locked folding clasp prevents accidental opening.

The P-104 comes with a high quality, highly durable and water resistant RAF regimental style NATO strap. Alternatively, there is a 20mm wide Italian black leather strap with natural linen, lined with a soft tan base and embossed with the OW emblem. Both bracelet and strap are handmade in Switzerland and are equipped with a brushed stainless steel pin buckle, signed "OWZ 1956".

About me

My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.

Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.

As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

So come along on a journey full of watches... off the mainstream... and if you have a question, please feel free to ask me anytime via the form, chat, WhatsApp, email or phone.

I am very much looking forward to meeting you.

PS: My hobbies & passions include the internet (first agency already in 1996), Denmark, France's coasts (Brittany, Normandy & Côte d’Azur), hiking, e-MTB, sales (Bachelor of Sales) and photography.

My Achilles' heel includes children's chocolate, good food, sneakers & of course watches... :-)

Shipping & Insurance

Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.

The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...

Cancellation & Return Shipping

You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.

I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.

IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

Please simply contact me for this. david@watchdavid.com

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

Authenticity & Condition of the Watches

I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).

As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...

Warranty & Service

All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.

If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.

Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

You wrote to me via the contact form, through the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you haven't received a reply?

Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and pushing more and more into spam.

I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it can sometimes take a bit longer. As a rule, I respond within a few minutes or hours.

Something can slip past me sometimes too. Or the technology doesn't work as it should. Feel free to write to me again at david@watchdavid.com

Mechanics - Sometimes things can happen there too

Before I ship your order, I carefully check each watch for visible defects.

If a problem should occur, such as damage during transport, please inform me immediately. I will do everything possible to quickly find a solution and ensure that you are satisfied.

My goal is to offer you not only high-quality products but also a first-class shopping experience. I look forward to welcoming you as a satisfied customer!
