Royale Paris Chrono 39.5 mm – French Chronograph with Manufacture Caliber

With the Royale Paris Chrono, Pequignet presents its first chronograph – a sporty-elegant model that reinterprets the long French watchmaking tradition. The chronograph was invented in France at the beginning of the 19th century, and this model builds on that heritage: precise timekeeping combined with modern technology and a clear design language.

Design – The DNA of the Royale Collection

The Royale Paris Chrono remains true to the characteristic design language of the collection. The case with its distinctive, applied lugs and the continuous, concave "Gouge" recess give the watch an unmistakable identity.

The perfectly aligned chronograph pushers ensure precise and controlled operation. Thanks to an offset crown system, the crown and pushers remain visually perfectly aligned – a technical detail that further emphasizes the harmonious design.

Dial – Sporty Elegance with Clear Readability

The silver-colored dial with blue subdials combines classic elegance with sporty dynamism. The finely structured graining and the circumferential groove create a vibrant interplay of light and shadow.

Two snail-finish subdials ensure clear segmentation:

• the small seconds at 3 o'clock
• the 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock

A tachymeter scale on the outer rim emphasizes the functional character of the chronograph. Beveled indices with polished and satin-finished surfaces, as well as the rhodium-plated logo, complete the high-quality appearance.

The polished steel hands with Super-LumiNova TC1 (blue) guarantee excellent readability, complemented by precisely crafted chronograph hands.

Case – Sporty, Precise, and High-Quality Finish

The case made of 316L stainless steel combines polished and satin-finished surfaces, giving the watch a dynamic yet elegant look. The domed sapphire crystal in a "Glass Box" style with anti-reflective coating ensures optimal visibility and enhances the depth effect of the dial.

The crown with embossed Fleur-de-Lys logo and the polished pushers with concave tips underscore the high-quality craftsmanship. On the back, a screwed-down case back with a sapphire crystal window offers a view of the movement.

The Calibre Initial® Chronograph – New Development from the Manufacture

For the Royale Paris Chrono, Pequignet has developed a new movement: the Calibre Initial® Chronograph, based on the in-house Initial® caliber and extended with the chronograph function.

The movement was designed so that the height of the watch remains compact despite the chronograph function. It offers a central 60-second stop display, a 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock, and the small seconds at 3 o'clock.

As with all manufacture calibers, the components come from within an 80 km radius around the workshops in Morteau. This underscores Pequignet's claim as a true manufacture and "watchmaker-engineer."

The Royale Paris Chrono is equipped with a quick-change strap system, offering maximum flexibility in everyday life. The stainless steel folding clasp ensures a secure fit and high wearing comfort.
