Royale Paris Chrono 39.5 mm – French Chronograph with Manufacture Claim

With the Royale Paris Chrono, Pequignet presents its first chronograph – a sporty-elegant model that reinterprets the long French watchmaking tradition. The chronograph was invented in France at the beginning of the 19th century, and this model builds on that heritage: precise timekeeping combined with modern technology and a clear design language.

Design – The DNA of the Royale Collection

The Royale Paris Chrono remains true to the collection's characteristic design language. The case with its striking, applied lugs and the circumferential, concave "Gouge" recess give the watch an unmistakable identity.

The perfectly aligned chronograph pushers ensure precise and controlled operation. Thanks to an offset crown system, the crown and pushers remain visually exactly in line – a technical detail that further emphasizes the harmonious design.

Dial – Sporty Elegance with Clear Readability

The silver-colored dial with red sub-dials combines classic elegance with sporty dynamism. The finely structured grain and the circumferential groove create a lively interplay of light and shadow.

Two snail-finish sub-dials ensure clear segmentation:

• the small seconds at 3 o'clock
• the 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock

A tachymeter scale on the outer groove underlines the functional character of the chronograph. Beveled indices with polished and satin-finished surfaces and the rhodium-plated logo complete the high-quality appearance.

The polished steel hands with Super-LumiNova TC1 guarantee excellent readability, complemented by precisely crafted chronograph hands.

Case – Sporty, Precise, and High-Quality Finish

The case made of 316L stainless steel combines polished and satin-finished surfaces and gives the watch a dynamic yet elegant look. The domed "Glass Box" sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating ensures optimal visibility and enhances the depth of the dial.

The crown with embossed Fleur-de-Lys logo and the polished pushers with concave tips underline the high-quality craftsmanship. On the back, a screwed case back with sapphire crystal window allows a view of the movement.

The Caliber Initial® Chronograph – New Development from the Manufacture

For the Royale Paris Chrono, Pequignet has developed a new movement: the Caliber Initial® Chronograph, based on the in-house Initial® caliber and expanded with the chronograph function.

The movement was designed so that the overall height of the watch remains compact despite the chronograph function. It offers a central 60-second stop display, a 30-minute counter at 9 o'clock, and the small seconds at 3 o'clock.

As with all manufacture calibers, the components come from within a radius of less than 80 km around the workshops in Morteau. This underlines Pequignet's claim as a true manufacture and "watchmaker-engineer".

Comfort and Versatility

The Royale Paris Chrono is equipped with a quick-change system for straps, offering maximum flexibility in everyday life. The stainless steel folding clasp ensures a secure fit and high wearing comfort.
