All about the PEQUIGNET ROYALE PARIS WATCH Blue 9100173

Royale Paris – An Expression of French Watchmaking Art

The Royale Paris is available in a smaller case diameter of 39.5 millimeters and impresses with its exceptionally detailed craftsmanship. Every design element has been harmonized to provide a worthy and fitting setting for the Calibre Royal®, the heart of this model. The watch combines architectural clarity with the characteristic elegance of the Pequignet manufacture.

Case & Design Language

The polished and satin-finished stainless steel case adopts the striking design language of the Royale collection. The applied lugs have been further refined and feature a brushed top surface and polished sides. The angular case profile is accented by a concave, groove-like cut-out that runs all around the dial. Finely sculpted flanks give the watch a balanced geometry, combining strength and style.

A domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal with Glass-Box coating further emphasizes the elegant silhouette. The screwed-down bezel ensures stability, while the crown with an embossed fleur-de-lis logo represents a subtle, unmistakable manufacture detail. With a case thickness of 11.5 millimeters and water resistance of 5 ATM, the Royale Paris is ideally suited for daily wear.

Dial & Displays

The blue dial is characterized by a strongly grained surface with notches at the edge, which adds depth and texture to the design. The rhodium-plated, embossed logo integrates harmoniously into the overall picture. Beveled hour markers with polished and satin-finished surfaces ensure clear readability and subtle light reflections.

The power reserve indicator is positioned at 8 o'clock, while the small seconds at 3:30 o'clock features a polished and satin-finished rim. Polished steel hour and minute hands are equipped with Super-LumiNova TC1 in blue, guaranteeing optimal readability in all lighting conditions. The polished steel seconds hand and power reserve indicator harmoniously complete the displays. This model deliberately omits a moon phase display, focusing on a clear, balanced design.

The Calibre Royal® – Precision & Innovation

Inside the Royale Paris beats the Calibre Royal®, a movement developed and manufactured entirely in-house with 318 components. It is the first French movement to combine all complications on a single main plate and is protected by eight international patents.

A large mainspring barrel allows for a power reserve of 96 hours. The automatic movement features a bidirectional winding system via an oscillating weight and a large balance wheel with compensation screws and high inertia. With a frequency of 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour and 39 jewels, the movement achieves chronometric precision with a daily rate deviation of –4 to +6 seconds, averaging ±2 seconds per day.

Manufacture & Craftsmanship

The Calibre Royal® is hand-assembled in the Morteau manufacture workshops. All components originate from within an 80-kilometer radius of the manufacture – a clear commitment to regional production and authentic Haute Horlogerie. The case back, secured with six screws, features a sapphire crystal opening that reveals the finely decorated movement with sunray brushing and a rhodium-plated 3N-Lily rotor.

Wearing Comfort & Features

The Royale Paris is equipped with an easy-to-use interchangeable strap system. When purchasing the watch with an alligator leather strap, an additional leather strap is included. The lug width of 20 millimeters and the stainless steel deployant clasp ensure a secure fit and high wearing comfort.

The Royale Collection

The Royale collection was created to put the Calibre Royal® at its heart. It is more than a watch – it is a status symbol for connoisseurs. The models in the collection are destined to be worn and admired, representing a distinctive French concept of time, freedom, and elegance.

FAQs

About David from WATCHDAVID

My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.

Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.

WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.

And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

If you have any questions or are unsure, feel free to contact me directly. I will respond personally.

Shipping & Insurance

Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.

You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...

Revocation & Return Shipping

You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.

I will cover the return shipping costs for you.

IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.

To do this, please simply contact me. david@watchdavid.com

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

Authenticity & Condition of the Watches

I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).

As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...

Warranty & Service

All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.

Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.

Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

No answer received?

You contacted me, via the contact form, about the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you didn't receive a reply?

Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and crazier and are sending more and more to spam.

I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it may take a little longer. As a rule, I reply within a few minutes or hours.

Something can also slip through for me. Or the technology isn't working as it should. Feel free to contact me again. david@watchdavid.com

Mechanics - Sometimes things can go wrong

Before I ship your order, I carefully inspect each watch for visible defects.

However, should a problem arise, such as a defect during transit, please inform me immediately. I will do everything in my power to find a quick solution and ensure your satisfaction.

My goal is to offer you not only high-quality products but also a first-class shopping experience. I look forward to welcoming you as a satisfied customer!
