Royale Paris – The Essence of French Haute Horlogerie

The Royale Paris is available in a smaller case diameter of 39.5 millimetres and impresses with its exceptionally detailed craftsmanship. Every design detail has been meticulously crafted to provide a fitting and harmonious setting for the Calibre Royal® that powers this model. The watch embodies a balanced combination of technical excellence, architectural clarity, and timeless elegance.

Case & Design

The case is made of polished and satin-finished stainless steel and features the applied lugs characteristic of the Royale collection, with brushed tops and polished sides. The angular case profile is accentuated by a concave, grooved cutout that encircles the dial. Finely sculpted flanks give the watch an expressive silhouette and create a geometry that masterfully combines strength and style.

A domed, anti-reflective sapphire crystal with Glass-Box coating further enhances its elegant appeal. The screwed bezel ensures stability, while the crown with an embossed fleur-de-lis logo represents a subtle, unmistakable manufacture detail. With a case thickness of 11.5 millimetres and water resistance of 5 ATM, the Royale Paris is perfectly suited for daily wear.

Dial & Displays

The silver dial features a strongly grained surface with notches at the edge, lending depth and texture to the design. The rhodium-plated, embossed logo seamlessly integrates into the overall aesthetic. Bevelled hour markers with polished and satin-finished surfaces ensure clear readability and subtle light reflections.

The power reserve indicator is positioned at 8 o'clock, while the small seconds at 3:30 o'clock is executed with a polished and satin-finished edge. Polished steel hour and minute hands are equipped with Super-LumiNova TC1 in blue, ensuring optimal readability even in low light conditions. The seconds hand and power reserve indicator are also made of polished steel. This model does not feature a moon phase display, deliberately focusing on a clear, balanced aesthetic.

The Calibre Royal® – Technology at its Finest

Inside the Royale Paris beats the Calibre Royal®, an in-house developed and manufactured movement with 318 components. It is the first French movement to integrate all complications on a single main plate and is protected by eight international patents.

A large mainspring barrel provides a power reserve of 96 hours. The automatic movement features a bi-directional winding system via an oscillating weight, as well as a large balance wheel with compensation screws and high inertia. With a frequency of 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour and 39 jewels, the movement achieves chronometric precision with a daily rate deviation of –4 to +6 seconds, averaging ±2 seconds per day.

Manufacture & Craftsmanship

The Calibre Royal® is hand-assembled in the manufacture workshops of Morteau. All components originate from within an 80-kilometre radius of the manufacture – a clear commitment to regional watchmaking artistry. The case back, secured with six screws, features a sapphire crystal opening, revealing the finely decorated movement with sunray brushing and a rhodium-plated 3N Lily rotor.

Wearing Comfort & Features

The Royale Paris is equipped with a comfortable interchangeable strap system. When purchasing the watch with an alligator leather strap, an additional leather strap is included. The lug width of 20 millimetres and the stainless steel folding clasp ensure a secure fit and high wearing comfort.
