All about the Ralf Tech ACADÉMIE AUTOMATIC AERO ACY 1006 Photo Watch
Classic Line with Character
The ACADÉMIE is undoubtedly the most classic model in RALF TECH's portfolio. In its “Aero” variant, it combines the traditional spirit of aviation with state-of-the-art technology and a distinctive style. The inspiration for this model comes from the brand's close ties to the French Air Force, as well as from RALF TECH's experience in extreme environments such as space. This history not only gives the watch technical relevance but also its very own authenticity.
Photo watch from the video / photos. As new, no flaws. 2-year warranty from date of purchase. €1,499 instead of €1,800.
Clear Design Language, Refined Details
The ACADÉMIE Aero's case features a classic round shape and is crafted from high-quality 316L surgical stainless steel. The surface has a satin-matte finish, which provides a subtle yet elegant look. With a diameter of 41 mm, the watch is striking without being obtrusive – perfect for lovers of classic pilot watches who value understatement.

Technical Heart with Long Endurance
Inside, the reliable automatic movement RTA003 operates, wound by its mechanical construction. It offers a power reserve of up to 44 hours, ensuring a consistent and robust performance – fully in line with the functional requirements expected of an aviation-inspired model. The crown is screwed down and, like the case back, contributes to the impressive water resistance of 200 meters.
Maximum Legibility Day and Night
The deep matte black dial is designed to absorb up to 95 % of incident light. This anti-reflective surface not only provides a special visual depth but also optimizes legibility under various lighting conditions. The applied indices are coated with high-quality SuperLuminova® BGW9, guaranteeing excellent visibility even in the dark. A date window was intentionally omitted to keep the design as clear as possible.
Sapphire Crystal and Robust Construction
Above the dial, a glassbox-style sapphire crystal curves, featuring an additional anti-reflective coating. With a thickness of 2.5 mm, this crystal significantly contributes to the watch's durability. The case back is screwed down and engraved – a small but fine detail that emphasizes the watch's limited character.

Stylish Straps for Every Occasion
The watch comes with two straps: a classic, hand-stitched vintage black calfskin strap and a black "Tropic" silicone strap for sportier use. Both can be worn comfortably and securely thanks to the 20 mm pin buckle. The lug width is 22 mm, which gives the watch a harmonious proportion to the case.
Presentation with an Adventurous Spirit
The ACADÉMIE Aero is delivered in a robust Explorer Case made of polycarbonate – perfect for those who want not just a watch, but an experience. Like all RALF TECH models, this piece is entirely manufactured in France, which stands for both the highest craftsmanship and a consistent anchoring in European watchmaking tradition.

My personal view on the Ralf Tech ACADÉMIE AUTOMATIC AERO ACY 1006 Photo Watch

FAQs
About David from WATCHDAVID
My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.
If you have any questions or are unsure, feel free to contact me directly. I will respond personally.
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.
To do this, please simply contact me. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
No answer received?
You contacted me, via the contact form, about the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you didn't receive a reply?
Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and crazier and are sending more and more to spam.
I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it may take a little longer. As a rule, I reply within a few minutes or hours.
Something can also slip through for me. Or the technology isn't working as it should. Feel free to contact me again. david@watchdavid.com
Mechanics - Sometimes things can go wrong

My goal is to offer you not only high-quality products but also a first-class shopping experience. I look forward to welcoming you as a satisfied customer!
