The ACADÉMIE is without a doubt the most classic model in the RALF TECH portfolio. In the "Aero" variant, it combines the traditional spirit of aviation with cutting-edge technology and a distinctive style. The inspiration for this model comes from the close ties of the house to the French Air Force as well as from the experiences RALF TECH has gathered in extreme environments such as space. Clear design language, refined details
The case of the ACADÉMIE Aero presents itself in a classic round shape and is made of high-quality surgical stainless steel type 316L. The surface has a satin matte finish, providing a subtle yet elegant look. With a diameter of 41 mm, the watch is striking without being intrusive – perfect for lovers of classic pilot watches who value understatement.
Technical heart with long endurance
Inside works the reliable automatic movement RTA003, which is wound by its mechanical construction. It offers a power reserve of up to 44 hours, ensuring smooth and robust operation – fully in line with the functional requirements expected of an aviation-inspired model. The crown is screwed down and, like the case back, contributes to the impressive water resistance of 200 meters.
Maximum readability by day and night
The dial in deep matte black was designed to up to 95 % of the incoming light absorbed. This anti-reflective surface not only provides a special visual depth but also optimizes readability under various lighting conditions. The applied indices are coated with high-quality SuperLuminova® BGW9, ensuring excellent visibility even in the dark. A date window was deliberately omitted to keep the design as clear as possible.
Sapphire crystal and robust construction
Above the dial arches a sapphire crystal in Glassbox style, which is equipped with an additional anti-reflective coating. With a thickness of 2.5 mm, this glass significantly contributes to the watch's durability. The case back is screwed and engraved – a small but fine detail that emphasizes the limited character of the watch.
Stylish straps for every occasion
The delivery includes two straps: a classic, hand-stitched calf leather strap in vintage black and a black "Tropic" silicone strap for sportier use. Both can be worn comfortably and securely thanks to the 20 mm wide pin buckle. The lug width is 22 mm, giving the watch a harmonious proportion to the case.

The ACADÉMIE Aero is delivered in a robust Explorer Case made of polycarbonate – perfect for those who want not just a watch, but an experience. "The Académie is predestined for use in the cockpit. I already liked the design of the charming three-hand watch in the original. However, I now believe that the implementation of the pilot look (easy-to-read numerals, matte dial, etc.) takes RALF TECH'S classic automatic watch to the next level. So far, I like the RALF TECH Académie Aero and Black Aero best visually. Thematically, it also succeeds in bridging to the core brand of RALF TECH. The description of a robust watch that withstands adverse conditions with a focus on functionality applies to all watches from RALF TECH."

My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
