An Homage to Aviation
The ACADÉMIE is one of the most classic models in the RALF TECH portfolio. With its clear design language and tradition-conscious design, it embodies timeless elegance. In the "Black Aero" version presented here, this line receives an exciting reinterpretation. Inspired by aviation and close cooperation with the French Air Force, the model incorporates classic elements of the pilot's watch – yet in its own unique, modern style. The matte black not only gives the watch visual depth but also an unmistakable technical aesthetic.
Robust Materials, Uncompromising Design
The case is made of durable 316L surgical stainless steel and has been finished with a matte black PVD coating. The sandblasted surface emphasizes the rugged functionality of this watch without detracting from its elegant character. With a diameter of 41 mm, the ACADÉMIE Black Aero sits comfortably on the wrist, appearing both powerful and balanced. A robust screwed case back reliably protects the movement – each piece bears its individual serial number there.
Technically Precise – Mechanically Reliable
Inside the watch, the mechanical automatic movement RTA003 operates, convincing with its reliable performance. With a power reserve of up to 44 hours, the watch is well-equipped for everyday use and longer wearing periods. A date window was deliberately omitted to avoid interrupting the clear lines of the dial – thus maintaining visual balance.
Purist Dial with Luminous Power
The dial itself features a matte black that absorbs 95% of light. This special coating not only ensures an elegant appearance but also high readability. The applied indices are coated with SuperLuminova® BGW9 and offer optimal visibility even in the dark. The hands are also made of 316L steel with a black PVD coating and pick up the minimalist overall look – functional and yet aesthetically thought out.
Function Meets Versatility
Reliable protection is provided by a curved sapphire crystal in a glassbox style, equipped with a double-sided anti-reflective coating. The screwed-down crown contributes to the high water resistance of 200 meters, making the ACADÉMIE Black Aero also an ideal companion for outdoor adventures. The watch comes with two different straps: a hand-stitched leather strap made of vintage calfskin in black and a robust Tropic silicone strap – both with a 22 mm lug width and pin buckle.

"Die Académie ist prädestiniert für den Einsatz im Cockpit. Das Design der charmanten Dreizeigeruhr gefiel mir im Original schon gut. Ich bin jedoch inzwischen der Meinung, dass die Implementierung des Fliegerlooks (gut ablesbare Ziffern, mattes Zifferblatt etc.) RALF TECHS klassische Automatikuhr auf das nächste Level heben. Die RALF TECH Académie Aero und Black Aero gefallen mir optisch bisher am besten. Thematisch gelingt es zudem, die Brücke zum Markenkern von RALF TECH zu schlagen. Die Beschreibung einer robusten, widrigen Bedingungen trotzenden Uhr mit Fokus auf Funktionalität trifft auf sämtliche Uhren von RALF TECH zu."

My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

Mechanics - Sometimes things can go wrong
Before I ship your order, I carefully inspect each watch for visible defects.
However, should a problem arise, such as a defect during transit, please inform me immediately. I will do everything in my power to find a quick solution and ensure your satisfaction.
