A tribute to aviation
The ACADÉMIE is one of the most classic models in the RALF TECH portfolio. With its clear design language and tradition-conscious design, it embodies timeless elegance. In the version presented here, "Black Aero," this line receives an exciting reinterpretation. Inspired by aviation and close collaboration with the French Air Force, the model picks up classic elements of the pilot's watch – but in a very own, modern style. The matte black not only gives the watch optical depth but also a distinctive technical appearance.

Robust materials, uncompromisingly designed
The case is made of durable surgical stainless steel 316L and has been given a matte black PVD coating. The sandblasted surface emphasizes the rugged functionality of this watch without diminishing its elegant character. With a diameter of 41 mm, the ACADÉMIE Black Aero sits comfortably on the wrist and appears both powerful and balanced. A robust screwed case back reliably protects the movement – each piece bears its individual serial number there.
Technically precise – mechanically reliable
Inside the watch works the mechanical automatic movement RTA003, which impresses with its reliable performance. With a power reserve of up to 44 hours, the watch is well prepared for everyday use and longer wear times. A date window was deliberately omitted to not interrupt the clear lines of the dial – thus maintaining the visual balance.
Purist dial with luminosity
The dial itself appears in a matte black that absorbs 95% of light. This special coating not only ensures an elegant look but also high legibility. The applied indices are coated with SuperLuminova® BGW9 and offer optimal visibility even in darkness. The hands are also made of 316L steel with black PVD coating and echo the minimalist overall design – functional and at the same time aesthetically thoughtful.
Function meets versatility
Reliable protection is provided by a domed sapphire crystal in glassbox style, equipped with double-sided anti-reflective coating. The screwed crown contributes to the high water resistance of 200 meters and makes the ACADÉMIE Black Aero the ideal companion for outdoor adventures. The watch comes with two different straps: a hand-stitched leather strap made of vintage black calfskin and a robust Tropic silicone strap – both equipped with 22 mm lug width and pin buckle.
An exclusive collector's item
With only 100 pieces worldwide, the ACADÉMIE Black Aero is a strictly limited edition. Each watch is delivered in a durable polycarbonate transport case, the so-called Explorer Case. The manufacturing is done entirely in France, making the model not only a stylish but also an authentic piece of European watchmaking art. "The Académie is predestined for use in the cockpit. I already liked the design of the charming three-hand watch in the original. However, I now believe that the implementation of the pilot look (easy-to-read numerals, matte dial, etc.) takes RALF TECH'S classic automatic watch to the next level. So far, I like the RALF TECH Académie Aero and Black Aero best visually. Thematically, it also succeeds in bridging to the core brand of RALF TECH. The description of a robust watch that withstands adverse conditions with a focus on functionality applies to all watches from RALF TECH."

About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
