RALF TECH ACADÉMIE MANUFACTURE "FIRST EDITION"
The ACADÉMIE is the RALF TECH model that best embodies the elegance and artistry of French watchmaking. Since its introduction in 2019, this watch has quickly made a name for itself thanks to its classic and timeless design. Now, for the first time, it is equipped with a manufacture caliber. In addition to the new movement, this model impresses with a lacquered dial, newly designed hands, and a sapphire crystal case back.
Exclusive Limitation and High-Quality Materials
The ACADÉMIE MANUFACTURE "FIRST EDITION" is limited to 22 pieces, emphasizing its exclusivity. The case is made of polished 316L surgical stainless steel, known for both its robustness and its elegant appearance. With a diameter of 41 mm, the watch is perfectly suited for wrists that value elegance and a modern size.
Innovative Manufacture Movement
Inside the watch, the RTM001 manufacture caliber – a mechanical movement with automatic winding – is at work. It offers a power reserve of up to 77 hours and guarantees high precision and reliability. The sapphire crystal case back reveals this artfully crafted movement, while the individual serial number on the back makes each watch unique.
Noble Details and Design
The black, lacquered dial gives the watch a luxurious appeal, complemented by the delicate "Dauphine" hands made of 316L stainless steel. The raised hour markers create a harmonious appearance and contribute to excellent readability.
The 2.5 mm thick, anti-reflective sapphire crystal in a glass box construction highlights the brilliance of the dial in any light situation. The screwed-down crown and case back ensure water resistance up to 50 meters (165 feet).
Versatile Strap Options
The watch comes with a hand-stitched black alligator leather strap, which underlines its elegant character. For sportier occasions, a black silicone "Tropic" strap is included. Both straps are equipped with a 20 mm pin buckle, offering optimal hold and comfort.

"Endlich wird die Académie von dem Uhrwerk angetrieben, das sie verdient! Ralf Tech spendiert dem „schwarzen Schaf“ der Kollektion ein hochwertiges Kaliber von Pequignet, das auf dem Prüfstand hervorragende Leistungen erzielt. Ich weiß Seikos NH35 durchaus zu schätzen. Diese Premiumuhr verdient meiner Ansicht nach jedoch ein anderes Niveau. Die Académie ist nun eine vollwertige Ralf Tech geworden!"

My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

Mechanics - Sometimes things can go wrong

However, should a problem arise, such as a defect during transit, please inform me immediately. I will do everything in my power to find a quick solution and ensure your satisfaction.
