All about the RALF TECH Académie Pirates Shadow Bronze Limited Edition ACY 1301

BRAND NEW! About the RALF TECH Académie Pirates Shadow Bronze Limited Edition of 100 pieces, numbered on the back. XXX/100. ACY 1301.

Cool-grey or Royal-blue? - Two new Académie models in bronze.

The Parisian brand, known for robust professional tool watches, expands its collection with the stylish Académie model in a bronze case.

For those who find Ralf Tech's mission timers too robust, or who don't necessarily consider themselves professional divers, the new Académie offers a casual, stylish alternative.

The model was designed by Frank Huyghe, originally a French Navy diver, not as a tool watch, but as an homage to his grandfather. Frank recalled his grandfather's watches from the late 1960s and early 1970s and designed the Académie collection as a vintage-look counterpoint to the professional watches of the WRX and WRV collections.

Still entirely Ralf Tech, the new model is water-resistant to at least 200m and focuses on durability and modern technologies. The 41mm case is made from CuAL8, a special, non-corrosive alloy of copper and aluminum. The Glassbox sapphire crystal with a thickness of 2.5mm allows a clear view of the dial even from the side.

Casually cool or royally elegant? Two dial variations make it possible: with the choice of the cool grey version Académie Pirates Shadow and the elegant royal-blue lacquered Académie, there's a suitable solution for every wrist.

Both are powered by the proven automatic workhorse Seiko NH35. In addition to the calfskin strap, a black silicone strap is included.

Both models are limited to 100 pieces each and cost 2,200 EUR each. Once they're gone, they're gone.

My conclusion on the RALF TECH Académie Pirates Shadow Bronze:

David Drilling

"I'm a huge fan of bronze watches! So I find it even cooler that RALF TECH is launching two new Académie watches. And then limited to 100 pieces each! Even I find it hard to decide on the dials. While I'm a total skull fan, the royal-blue lacquered version also really appeals to me! I'm curious which one YOU choose! The price of 2,200 EUR each is absolutely justified."

FAQs

About David from WATCHDAVID

My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.

Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.

WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.

And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

If you have any questions or are unsure, feel free to contact me directly. I will respond personally.

Shipping & Insurance

Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.

You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...

Revocation & Return Shipping

You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.

I will cover the return shipping costs for you.

IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.

To do this, please simply contact me. david@watchdavid.com

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.

Authenticity & Condition of the Watches

I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).

As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...

Warranty & Service

All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.

Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.

Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
