The WRX "Black Operator" was designed in 2008 and developed with the help of the combat divers of the Commando Hubert unit of the French Navy, who have been using the watch since 2011. In this new black edition, the WRX is equipped with a new electric movement, a sandwich dial, and a matte black ceramic rotating bezel.

The first WRX was designed by Frank Huyghe in 2007. Born from the feedback of the WR1, the world record in autonomous diving, it was the founder of RALF TECH's desire to go beyond what had been achieved and create a model that knows no bounds. "To go beyond modes, we must work without preconceived notions. Only the vision of the product is successful, and the constraints associated with its use should lead us to a certain restraint." The pencil stroke is clean and uncompromising. Muffled and rounded shapes merge into a homogeneous watch that can find its way even in the deepest depths. Thus, a pre-series was created in 2008. One expedition followed another and the WRX moved further and further away from classic watch production. In 2010, French special forces embarked on a mission on the other side of the world with WRXs. From the feedback of the operators of the Commando Hubert of the French Navy, the final series emerges, slightly modified and improved.
