The WRX "Original" was designed in 2008 and developed in collaboration with the combat swimmers of the French Navy's Commando Hubert Division, who have been using the watch since 2010. It is a benchmark instrument in the world of military and professional divers. In this new edition, the WRX features a new electric movement and a sandwich construction dial.

The first WRX was designed by Frank Huyghe in 2007. Born from the feedback of the WR1, the world record for autonomous diving, it was the desire of RALF TECH's founder to go beyond what had been achieved and create a model with no limits. "To go beyond modes, we must work without preconceived notions. Only the product vision succeeds, and the constraints associated with its use should lead us to a certain restraint." The pencil stroke is clean and uncompromising. Subdued and round shapes merge into a homogeneous watch that can also find its way in the deepest depths. Thus, a pre-series was created in 2008. One expedition followed another, and the WRX moved further and further away from classic watch production. In 2010, French special forces embarked on a mission on the other side of the world with WRXs. From the feedback of the operators of the French Navy's Commando Hubert, the final series emerged, slightly modified and improved. The path for the Ralf Tech WRX ELECTRIC « ORIGINAL Ocean » WRX 5002 is now clear: instinct, initial design, feedback, and final design.
