With the Hexa 400, Sicura makes an impressive return to the world of Swiss watches after 47 years. The brand, founded in 1939 and gaining great renown in the 1960s and 1970s with innovative tool watches, now builds on its rich history and completely reinterprets one of its most distinctive models. The Hexa 400 combines the characteristic design of the historic Diver 400 from 1968 with modern technology, high-quality materials, and uncompromising functionality.

An Icon Reinterpreted

The new Hexa 400 is unmistakably inspired by the historic original but has been reworked in almost every detail. The distinctive hexagonal case remains, but now features cleaner lines, more precise proportions, and a modern, brushed surface made of solid 316L stainless steel. While the historic Diver 400 was already designed as a professional diving watch, Sicura consistently elevates the concept with the new edition to the current standard of modern tool watches.

With a case diameter of 40 mm and a lug-to-lug length of 46 mm, the watch offers balanced proportions that impress both underwater and in everyday life.

Strong Character Design with Maximum Legibility

The matte black dial was consistently designed for optimal functionality. Large applied indices, a prominent 12 o'clock hour marker, and broad hands ensure excellent legibility under all lighting conditions. Date and time displays remain clearly visible at all times, while Super-LumiNova on hands, indices, and bezel markers provides excellent visibility even in the dark.

The design has been deliberately streamlined and modernized. Compared to the historical model, Sicura foregoes superfluous inscriptions and instead opts for a clear, balanced dial architecture with high functionality.

Two Crowns – Maximum Functionality

A special feature of the Hexa 400 is its characteristic dual-crown construction. While the lower screw-down crown is used to set the time and date, the upper crown controls the internal rotating bezel.

This allows for comfortable reading of a second time zone without the need for a separate GMT movement. The mechanical solution remains simple, reliable, and particularly intuitive to operate – in the spirit of classic tool watches.

Built for Demanding Use

Technically, the Hexa 400 also meets the highest demands. The unidirectional rotating diving bezel features 120 precise clicks and has a durable ceramic insert. Both screw-down crowns and the screw-down case back together ensure water resistance up to 400 meters or 40 ATM.

The anti-reflective sapphire crystal, additionally coated with an anti-fingerprint layer, reliably protects the dial from scratches and ensures clear visibility at all times. This makes the Hexa 400 a truly professional diving watch, capable of withstanding even the harshest conditions.

Inside, the proven Swiss automatic movement Sellita SW200 is at work. This reliable caliber offers hour, minute, central second, and date display, as well as a power reserve of at least 38 hours. Its high reliability and ease of maintenance have made it one of the most popular Swiss automatic calibers in its class for many years.

Comfort Down to the Last Detail

Befitting its functional character, the Hexa 400 comes with a solid three-link stainless steel bracelet made of 316L stainless steel with a brushed finish. The high-quality folding clasp features a safety lock, pushers, and a tool-free fine adjustment, allowing the bracelet to be quickly and comfortably adjusted at any time – ideal for everyday wear as well as over a wetsuit.

Tradition Meets Innovation

Already in the late 1960s, Sicura was one of the most innovative Swiss watch manufacturers. Under the leadership of Ernest Schneider, the brand developed numerous exceptional timepieces with technical peculiarities and unusual functions. This innovative spirit ultimately led to the acquisition of Breitling in 1979 and made Sicura an important chapter in Swiss watch history.

With the Hexa 400, this pioneering spirit is revived. The new edition adopts the unmistakable DNA of the historic Diver 400, but consistently reinterprets it with modern materials, contemporary manufacturing quality, and significantly improved functionality.
