The "1521" is the most famous collection of the Squale brand and gets its name from the original production reference that Von Büren gave to this case in the 1960s. Designed and manufactured for the first time by Charles Von Büren at the dawn of the dive watch, its pressure resistance of 50 bar guarantees all diving enthusiasts a safe feeling up to a (theoretical) depth of 500 meters below sea level.

Its distinctive feature is the fully luminous dial, which becomes a real eye-catcher especially in the dark. In addition, there are other details such as the screw-down crown with a signed logo, a reference to the founders of the Squale brand "von Büren S.A. / Montres" (Neuchâtel, Switzerland) and the acid engraving in the case back. Double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal for optimal readability under all circumstances completes the watch.
