The "1521" is Squale's most famous collection and takes its name from the original production reference that Von Büren gave to this case in the 1960s. First designed and manufactured by Charles Von Büren at the birth of the dive watch, its pressure resistance of 50 bar guarantees all diving enthusiasts a safe feeling down to a (theoretical) depth of 500 meters below sea level.

Its characteristic feature is the fully luminous dial, which is a real eye-catcher, especially in the dark. In addition, there are other details such as the screw-down crown with a signed logo, a reference to the founders of the Squale brand "von Büren S.A. / Montres" (Neuchâtel, Switzerland) and the acid engraving in the case back. Double-sided anti-reflective sapphire crystal for optimal readability under all circumstances completes the watch.
