The Matic is the dive watch for connoisseurs and, in fact, everyone who values design. Nevertheless, the beautiful design of the Matic always remains functional. The Matic is also suitable for demanding dives. Squale has now revised the case so that it is water-resistant to depths of 600 meters. This means the Matic even surpasses the popular 1521. A unique selling point is the two-tone bezel, which is used on some references and is available in various color combinations. So, everything from a subtle diver to an exotic eye-catcher is possible! However, on this reference, the color accents are particularly striking.

With a diameter of 44 millimeters, the Squale Matic is somewhat chunkier – ideal for people with slightly larger wrists. Instead of a flat watch glass, Squale opted for a far more classic solution: a double domed crystal. Sapphire crystal guarantees the necessary durability of the watch.

My Conclusion:
"It's the details that make the Squale Matic special. Sometimes you only discover them at second glance. However, it's clear that the designers worked here with an eye for beautiful colors and great attention to detail. I find the water resistance of up to 60 bar impressive. Not even the 1521 achieves that. And in that regard, it's already outstanding. The larger diameter expands the product range upwards."

My name is David, and I've been deeply involved with watches for many years – not just as a dealer, but primarily as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I’ve been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project featuring reviews, videos, and real-world wearing experiences. Many of the watches you'll find here have been on my own wrist – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is intentionally personal. I only sell watches that I genuinely stand behind – no anonymous mass-produced goods, no dropshipping, no "quick trends." Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are paramount to me.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I enjoy good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a proven weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, shipping is free of charge. Shipping is handled by DHL and insured up to €500, €2,500 or €25,000, depending on the watch's value. The watches are therefore always sufficiently insured.
You can find the delivery time in the description and/or below the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after an order is placed, while others are brand new and, for example, will only be available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Revocation & Return Shipping
You can revoke your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the return shipping costs for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself; I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of any signs of wear. After a successful inspection, I will refund the purchase price to you. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee that all watches I offer are exclusively new, original goods. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly state otherwise (e.g., so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I exclusively offer authentic products. These are offered in their original packaging, with a warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in a so-called Full Set. Some deliver more, some less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which is usually two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
Should a warranty claim arise, I will take care of shipping the watch to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and will also organize its return to you. In addition, I will handle all communication with the manufacturer, so you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I will remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

You contacted me, via the contact form, about the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you didn't receive a reply?
Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and crazier and are sending more and more to spam.
I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it may take a little longer. As a rule, I reply within a few minutes or hours.

Mechanics - Sometimes things can go wrong
Before I ship your order, I carefully inspect each watch for visible defects.
However, should a problem arise, such as a defect during transit, please inform me immediately. I will do everything in my power to find a quick solution and ensure your satisfaction.
