Squale can look back on an eventful history spanning more than six decades. In keeping with the anniversary in 2019, the manufacturer gave itself a gift and launched a completely new series with the Sub-39. The main focus is on the brand's history, which is creatively reflected in the design of the Sub-39. You could say: the Sub-39 combines old designs in a completely new diving watch - an exciting project!
The historical models have a diameter of only 39 millimeters - which is where the name of the series comes from. However, the Sub-39 is slightly larger. The case was inspired by an old Squale watchfound in the archives of founder Charles Von Büren. It dates from the 1960s and contributes significantly to the appearance of the Sub-39. Another trademark is the slightly box-shaped watch glass, which is reminiscent of the old Plexiglas designs of the past. Today, however, sapphire glass is used. After all, it is significantly higher quality and more robust.

The Sub-39 is presented entirely in black and now also with a GMT complication. The indices and proportions are in the characteristic vintage style. This makes the Sub-39 look like one of the first diving watches from the 1960s! The three-link stainless steel bracelet is very classic!

My conclusion:
"An incredibly beautiful diving watch - you can't say much more about it! Squale doesn't just take an old model out of the archives, but rather combines several historical designs into a new watch. The result is breathtaking. Whether it's a three-hand diving watch or with a GMT -Complication like this reference. The Sub-39 definitely cuts a fine figure. But that also makes this reference the most expensive watch at the moment. But: this watch is worth the money!

My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
