In Squale's history, the Super Squale can look back on a long tradition. As early as 1959, founder Charles von Büren had the brand name "Super Squale" registered. Today, alongside the 1521 series, the Super Squale includes the manufacturer's most popular models.
With a diameter of just 38 millimeters, these references are among the most compact watches in Squale's model range. Their lug-to-lug measurement of just 45 millimeters also indicates that the focus of this watch is on minimal mass. This prevents the watch from being a hindrance during dives.
Squale bases its designs on the iconic originals from the 1960s, which is evident in the double-domed sapphire crystal. Nevertheless, modern elements are implemented - especially on the technical side.
