The Triton SPIROTECHNIQUE Sport black
All about the The Triton SPIROTECHNIQUE Sport black
The Return of an Icon
With the Spirotechnique, Triton brings back a legendary diving watch, which set new standards as early as 1963. Developed at that time by Colonel Jean René Parmentier for professional use, it combined avant-garde design with the highest functionality. The new Spirotechnique remains true to this legacy and combines historical design elements with the latest watchmaking craftsmanship. Every detail has been carefully revised to preserve the distinctive aesthetics of the original Triton diving watch, while technical improvements elevate its performance to a new level.
Housing – Vintage design with modern robustness
The distinctive stainless steel case of the Spirotechnique remains true to the historical model and impresses with classic proportions of 39 mm in diameter. The gently curved lines, the doubly curved sapphire glass, and the polished as well as satin-finished surfaces give it an elegant yet functional character.
Despite its nostalgic design, the case offers an impressive water resistance of 200 meters, ensured by elaborate testing procedures. Like its famous predecessor from the 1960s, the new Spirotechnique has also been designed for tough underwater use. The result is a robust, meticulously thought-out diving watch that excites both adventurers and collectors.
Crown protection – A distinctive feature
A central feature of every Triton watch is the unusual . This unique construction, combined with the movable crown guard, not only provides high protection against impacts but also gives it a distinctive appearance. Since 1963, this striking detail has set Triton watches apart from all other diving watches and emphasizes their innovative character.

Movement – Swiss precision with high power reserve
Inside the Spirotechnique beats a mechanical automatic movement specially designed for Triton, based on the renowned La Joux-Perret G100. This caliber, fully made in Switzerland, operates at a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers an impressive power reserve of 68 hours – a crucial advantage for anyone who does not want to wind their watch daily.
The movement is refined by fine Côtes de Genève engravings on the rotor and bridge, which emphasize Triton's high craftsmanship through their decorative design. In addition to a precise hour, minute, and second display, the caliber features a date function with quick adjustment as well as a stop-seconds function for accurate time setting.
Dial & Bezel – Perfect readability in any environment
The dial of the Spirotechnique was specifically designed for optimal readability under various conditions. The generous hands and indices coated with Super-Luminova glow brightly afterwards and guarantee excellent readability even in complete darkness. The fine craftsmanship of the dials requires high artisanal precision, especially in the elaborate application of the luminous material.
Another highlight is the unidirectionally rotating diver's bezel, which clicks into place precisely with 120 clicks. The insert made of synthetic resin gives it a classic vintage character, while the distinctive numerals coated with Super-Luminova ensure excellent readability even underwater.
Bracelet – A Touch of Nostalgia with Modern Comfort
The design of the Spirotechnique is rounded off by a Tropic sports strap, specially developed for this model. Inspired by the iconic diving watches of the 1960s, it combines the classic look with the durability of modern materials. The fine grainy texture of the rubber recalls the historical models and provides a pleasant feel as well as maximum wearing comfort – whether over a wetsuit or directly on the wrist.

FAQs
About me
My name is David, I was born in the late 60s in NRW, now live and work in the beautiful Harz Mountains, and have been running this watch shop, among other things, since spring 2022.
Since 2018, I have also been running my watch blog watchdavid.de, which features hundreds of reviews and watch news. Since then, I have taken thousands of professional watch photos for over 100 watch brands. Many photos can be found in my reviews. I am known worldwide for this.
As a result, I naturally had thousands of watches in my hands. And with this shop, I want to bring you closer to watches that have convinced me in many ways.
So come along on a journey full of watches... off the mainstream... and if you have a question, please feel free to ask me anytime via the form, chat, WhatsApp, email or phone.
I am very much looking forward to meeting you.
PS: My hobbies & passions include the internet (first agency already in 1996), Denmark, France's coasts (Brittany, Normandy & Côte d’Azur), hiking, e-MTB, sales (Bachelor of Sales) and photography.
My Achilles' heel includes children's chocolate, good food, sneakers & of course watches... :-)
Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.
Please simply contact me for this. david@watchdavid.com
It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.
No response received?
You wrote to me via the contact form, through the price proposal, directly by email, chat, but you haven't received a reply?
Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and pushing more and more into spam.
I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it can sometimes take a bit longer. As a rule, I respond within a few minutes or hours.
Something can slip past me sometimes too. Or the technology doesn't work as it should. Feel free to write to me again at david@watchdavid.com
Mechanics - Sometimes things can happen there too
Before I ship your order, I carefully check each watch for visible defects.
If a problem should occur, such as damage during transport, please inform me immediately. I will do everything possible to quickly find a solution and ensure that you are satisfied.
My goal is to offer you not only high-quality products but also a first-class shopping experience. I look forward to welcoming you as a satisfied customer!
