Arsenale 37 mm – Venetian Inspiration in a Modern Form
The Arsenale 37 mm combines the history of Venice with contemporary watch design. Inspired by the famous Arsenale of Venice, the historic shipyard of the Serenissima, this model embraces the idea of technical innovation and artisanal precision. For centuries, the Arsenal was considered one of the most advanced production centers of its time and became a symbol of Venetian engineering craftsmanship.
This blend of tradition and progress is reflected in the watch’s design: classic surface finishing meets clear, modern lines.
Elegant Design with Integrated Bracelet
The case of the Arsenale is characterized by its slim, architectural shape. The integrated bracelet fits seamlessly into the case, creating a harmonious silhouette. Satin-finished links are complemented by polished details, giving the watch an elegant, contemporary appearance.
With its compact diameter of 37 mm, the watch is designed to be especially comfortable on a variety of wrist sizes. The proportions remain balanced while maintaining the collection’s distinctive style.
Dial Made of Natural Mother-of-Pearl
At the center is the exceptional natural mother-of-pearl dial with an elegant fumé finish. For each model, mother-of-pearl blanks with particularly intense iridescence are selected. After a careful selection process, the material is cut into a round shape, reduced to the desired thickness, and then polished to optimally highlight the depth and natural reflections.
Since mother-of-pearl is a natural material, each dial has a unique structure—making every watch a distinctive one-of-a-kind piece.
Elaborate Coloring and Finishing Process
After preparing the blank, the coloring process begins. The pigment is applied very carefully to achieve an even color without covering the characteristic depth of the mother-of-pearl. The color is applied gradually until a balanced relationship between hue and transparency is achieved.
Finally, the dial receives a smoked finish on the outer edge, creating a gentle gradient outward. This effect improves legibility and makes indices and printed elements stand out more clearly. A transparent protective coating then preserves the material from UV radiation and external influences.
Slim Profile and High Wearing Comfort
The elegant height of only 9 mm is made possible by the compact automatic movement. This keeps the watch exceptionally flat and light, while the construction of the case and integrated bracelet forms a continuous, flowing line.
The result is a timepiece that is especially comfortable on the wrist and combines elegance with everyday practicality.
Miyota 9039 Automatic Movement
Inside works the Miyota 9039 automatic movement, known for its reliability and compact design. This caliber not only enables the slim case profile but also ensures precise and robust timekeeping in daily use.
Engraving of the Venetian Arsenal
The case back features an engraving of the Venetian Arsenal, one of the most important proto-industrial centers of its time. Thanks to innovative production methods and advanced organization, Venetian galleys could be assembled there in a short time—a precursor to modern mass production and a key factor in the maritime power of the Republic of Venice.

My name is David and I have been deeply involved with watches for many years – not only as a dealer but especially as a tester, photographer, and classifier.
Since 2018, I have been running WATCHDAVID as an independent watch project with reviews, videos, and genuine wearing experiences. Many of the watches you find here I have worn myself – often for extended periods.
WATCHDAVID.SHOP is deliberately kept personal. I only sell watches that I truly stand behind – no anonymous mass products, no dropshipping, no “quick trends.” Experience, transparency, and honest assessment are my priorities.
And yes: I am not an anonymous seller. I like good food, sneakers, and photography – and I have a noted weakness for Kinder Chocolate.

Shipping & Insurance
Within Germany and the EU, I ship free of charge. Shipping is done via DHL and insured up to 500€, 2,500€, or 25,000€, depending on the watch value. The watches are thus always sufficiently insured.
The delivery time can be found in the description and/or under the shopping cart button. Some watches are only produced after ordering, others are brand new and, for example, only available in a few weeks (so-called PRE-SALE), etc...
Cancellation & Return Shipping
You can cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.
I will cover the costs for the return shipping for you.
IMPORTANT: Do not send the watch back yourself, I will send you the free return label.

It is also important that the watch is unworn and free of signs of use. After successful inspection, I will refund you the purchase price. The refund will be made using the same payment method you used for the purchase.
Authenticity & Condition of the Watches
I guarantee you that all watches I offer are exclusively new original products. The watches come directly from the manufacturer and have had no previous owners, unless I explicitly point this out (e.g. so-called PHOTO WATCHES).
As an official dealer, I offer you exclusively authentic products. These are offered in the original packaging, with warranty card, etc., just as they are delivered by the dealer. Everything in the so-called full set. One delivers more, another less...
Warranty & Service
All watches purchased from me come with the international manufacturer's warranty, which usually lasts two years. Some brands even offer a warranty of up to 5 years.
If a warranty case occurs, I will take care of the shipping to the manufacturer or the responsible service center for you and also organize the return shipment to you. In addition, I handle all communication with the manufacturer so that you don't have to worry about anything.
Even after the warranty period has expired, I remain your contact person and support you with service questions or repairs.

Then please check your SPAM folder! Many providers are getting crazier and pushing more and more into spam.
I usually answer every inquiry within 24 hours at the latest. On weekends, it can sometimes take a bit longer. As a rule, I respond within a few minutes or hours.
